  1. Well , there's me always bitching about the absolute lack of trials scene here in Holland , when I happened upon this : I don't expect this will interest you guys ( and girls ) much , but be grateful of your well developed trials scene . Seems there might be some life here after all , always wanted to see Kenny riding for real . By an incredibly gutting coincidence though , I'm leaving on holiday on that same day ( sept 11th ) so will be unable to attend . (Y) Oh , the ironing ...
  2. As stated above ^ , plus an absurd weight .
  3. (Y) Yikes ! How did you achieve that ? And did it work OK ?
  4. Guess I missed this topic when originally posted , and found it really helpful and well presented . Top marks , especially the Mech modification . Great photography too .
  5. Of course , the Topic is entitled "Can your bird ride ? " Hope this will redeem me with the Moderating team . In my defence , I'll claim that as a Dutch man I'd gotten confused by you guys calling girls "birds." B)"
  6. One more : She certainly does seem to be a genuinely skilled rider , as opposed to " Oh allright then , I'll pose on your Dammned bike ."

  8. Brilliant , simple as that . Definately be keeping this one . Thanks , guys.
  9. Oh for crying out loud ... No , she's not my girlfriend . ( yet...) I'll post more later .
  10. Yeah , I'd noticed . http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....showtopic=60056 :-" Good frame , appaling colour .
  11. Had it as my homepage for a while :"> .
  12. (Y) Like , totally wow ! 'n stuff . Thinking of doing it , let alone actually pulling it off , awesome .
  13. Damn ! Didn't sustain any injuries , I hope ? Had there been any warning signs ie: creaking , or was it sudden snappage ? Gutted either way , dude . What do you intend to replace it with ?

    Pics Of Ali C

Great work ridingwise and on the photography , really professional photos . Had some of 'em been larger , I would say excellent desktop background material . Got any more ?
  15. I'm with Badboy's reccomendation on this , Woodman's Wide + Wild TT bars are excellent at 730mm , reasonable weight and little flex . ( as shown in pic in sig :D . ) Available in any colour as long as it's black .
  16. I seem to remeber Hans Rey running one on his GT Zaskar trials machine . Pretty good endorsement , although geometries have changed massively since those days .
  17. Right , O.K then , I guess this frame totally escaped my attention (Y) . Probably overlooked it with all the GUs , Varios , Czars etc recently released . Never heard of this , been out long ? Looks deece , I'll go Google for more information . Sorry , no help at all on the topic .

    baseta26

    From the album: Base Ta26

  19. Well basebikes finally got round to updating their website , which had until a week ago shown only the pre 2003 model ( ! ) . How can any company underestimate or neglect the importance of online presence for so long ? It's still not much of a site , but better than it's prehistoric updates , now showing the TA 26 in several finishes , including this beauty : For some reason , the site also shows the Ashton 20"mod . Is that thing secretly manufactured by base ? Ah well , I'm still embarrased to have that website's adress displayed on my chainstays , which I notice is absent from the newer frames . Now , where did I leave that nitromors ?
  20. Neat . Like the E-Thirteen bash on Saint / Hone cranks . Sure would be funny with a rigid fork , the BB would probably be scraping the floor , you could use it to plough any natural terrain you ride
