  1. Once every couple of weeks I usually strip down my bike, and then simply re-build it using plenty of grease on the moving parts and on all of the threads. As well as the above, every 3 months I put on a new chain.
  2. As I say, I don't have any set dates yet, i was thinking between the start of April and the end of May.
  3. I have a meeting with Rosa from Dynamix skate park on Friday, so I will know exactly what's happening then. I think they may be a possibility to camp over, as there was that option for the 3Sixty Jam. The prices will hopefully be below £25 for the weekend depending on number of riders Etc.
  4. This is visually pleasing. Good job .
  5. The place we are looking at is an Indoor skate park that I've rode myself, back in the BMX days. The place is quite a large area, so it shouldn't get too stuffy in there. Here's a little video from the 3Sixty which is held in the same skate park:
  6. As we all know, A British Summer mostly consists of bad weather . So the idea was to make an event that would still go to plan, even if the weather took a turn for the worst. Although the place we are thinking of hosting the event, does have a small outdoor riding area which could be used if it was getting a little to warm inside.
  7. I apologize, I should have made myself a little more clear. It will be an open event so anybody can ride.
  8. Good afternoon everyone. I'm currently looking into hosting an indoor riding event in the North East area of England. The event will be similar to the 3sixty trials jam that was held a few years ago. If everything goes to plan, the event will be run over a weekend closer to the Summer. At the event you can expect onsite catering, as well as a stalls from local bike shops. Throughout the weekend we will be giving away freebies to riders including stickers, t-shirts and some little trinkets. As we are still in the planning stages, that's the only information we have, but we will keep everyone updated. Who would up up for this? Cheers, John @ Freewheel Display Team
  9. I've heard of a few competition riders adding a bit of weight to their bike in the winter months. The reason being, if they practice on a bike that is a kilo or so heavier they gain a bit more strength and technique to be able to throw the bike up things that they would struggle with on their lightweight competition bike. When it comes back around to the comp season their light bike feels really light and easier to ride, and in theory they should be able to go bigger than they can on the heavy bike.
  10. Alternatively they could have given Brad Johnson the wheel for a few hours. I've seen his old Maestro wheels . (Sorry Brad!)
  11. Hopefully I'll hire a van and bring down a few of the lads from the team.
  12. I'd recommend a set of the new Trial-Tech SL's They're pretty light and are still very strong. I'm considering a set for my 26" kloud, as i don't think riding shows on Koxx Karbons is a good idea.
  13. Down the local we have one called shnecklifter, thats not too bad; although I'm more of a beer man, I'm told they sell it in Nisa, although im not 100% sure.
  14. That's some flat spot you have in the rear rim! What rim is it out of interest?
