  1. Would just like your opinions of this frame? At the moment im riding a very old T pro but would like to try a stock. Im still fairly new to trials but im more familiar with mountain bikes so wondering if this would be more suitable. From what i'v read it has a 0 BB rise, would this make it difficult to learn moves on? The T pro is around +80 and is very easy to get it on the back wheel (Despite not being able to keep it there for long) :$ Many thanks
  2. At the moment there is a mystery no name freewheel on my cranks and its crap, only 20 points of engagement. Im not onto pedal kicks yet just getting up obstacles and trying to learn the wheelie drop off. When i try and put in a hard pedal stroke it feels kind of distant, almost as if it makes little difference. Is this down to the freewheel or just my lack of talent? cheers
  3. I think on one of Chris Akrigg's vidoes he says he puts more air in. Problem with that is it won't work when you want it to be a mountain bike again.
  4. Mate, just like me you are a beginner. You won't be doing 5 foot drop offs and fancy danny mcaskill tricks for a long long time. You're not going to brake it. Even the basics are very difficult to get a grasp of so frankly it doesn't matter what you start with, anything trials orientated will be a bonus. I made my bike out of seccond hand bits from ebay and here and cost around £80. Its a bit pants but it doesn't matter because i can't use it to its full potental anyway.
  5. Cheers, when you say almost bunnyhop should i still be trying to lift the front with a half pedal stroke or just with my arms? Whats wrong with my flats? really don't think that bike is worth spending money on lol
  6. Spent a few hours practicing today and although i can now get up a 20" step i just can't seem to do it smoothly. my back wheel crashes into whatever im trying to get up befor i can try to lift it. Any advice would be great:)
  7. Is it just the hight of the top tube that makes it a bit rubbish or are there other reasons that make the geo dated? I think it will serve me fine for a while, side hops and gaps are a long way off! Im still working on track stands and pivots at the moment. Is it strange that i find it easier to track stand on a mountain bike?
  8. cheers dazza, where they not very popular? iv never seen another one.
  9. This is my first trials bike, think it is original exept for the brakes and cranks (didn't come with the bike). Probably not the best but it was dirt cheep:) It feels very odd but i guess this is normal? Im used to riding mountain bikes. Im curious to know how old it is?
  10. Was outbid! Maybe for the best, wasn't too keen on the colour haha
