its got its pro's and cons good things are you can ride in the damp/pissing wet and its pretty great at giving you nice bite and hold however say goodbye to manuals and brake modulation , grinds do on and off but you use tar so it wont really matter it also depends on what pads and rim you have as all pads can work well with tar but most just die on a grind its up to you , you proably wont regret it if you try
