  1. 'seven rounds over the course of the year with a pretty even spread up and down the country'

On Average it works out at 260 miles to each comp...520 miles return trip..

2 day events so Hotel bills and Fuel...And the people wonder why the numbers are so low..

    These comps favour northern riders..Fact!

P.s the 7 people who have replied to this topic..are Northern...( Midlands and up is northern :P )..I see some kind of pattern.

2 comps in Scotland, 2 in the south of England then 3 dotted around midlands/north England.

I think thats pretty fair, you southern fairy! :P

  2. Always enjoy your videos Ben and this was the same. Very smooth, controlled and inventive riding. Particularly liked the 180 gap to footjam whip, never seen that before.

  3. Always like these evening ride edits. Was a fun evening. Not rode much at all in the last 2/3 weeks so was good to get out.

New van is sweet, perfect for what we need it for.

PS. Mark's Klinsmann dive was comedy.

  4. What’s with all the fapping on here about warranties ect… everything is lighter these days, what do you really expect? I have gone through a few frames and forks over the past few years. Frames are pretty good these days, if you are going through one every six months you are doing something wrong. Forks… I have bought SL’s Because, urbans and snapped them all within a year… the urbans lasted really well, used to smack my front wheel in for taps. I bought the SL’s and Because forks knowing I would be very lucky if I got three months out of them… wanted a lighter bike though, so this was acceptable to me. Not that bothered riding bits with cracks in them :P

Got a pair of SL’s on my echo 24” now despite my past experiences… again due to wanting a lighter bike I find it acceptable that they might snap again. (don’t do taps so would imagine this is why they have lasted a fair while… could be the lack of riding).

If I had the spare cash about I would probably give these bars a go.

Nice to see a bit of common sense for once!

Regarding the Trialtech SL bars, I've had mine for about 3 months and they are amazing, can't fault them.

  5. Was a fun weekend! My first comps in ages, but I really enjoyed it. The Trial was really well put together. Thanks to the observers and organisers!

Shame my knee died on the second day but still got through most of them. It was funny how much harder it was with the rain. Made a huge difference to some sections.

Was also good to meet new and old faces!

  6. Always like these short edits! Nice one Mark.

Was struggling to find stuff to film that day, but I enjoyed it! It was awesome to finally ride with Flipp. Dude can ride! The classic "Shipley Gap" is an example of just how far brakeless has come. He just cruised over it, no probs at all.

Shame we didn't catch that dog stealing your Malt Loaf on camera..

  7. What happened when the music stopped when you were putting your front wheel on the pavement before doing that transfer to front and putting your rear wheel on the side at 2:32?

Mark called me out for being shit, haha.

  8. amazing riding and nice soundtrack.but i dont get this "pulley- AND-spoke-tensioner" thing, especially on such a professional bike.

no rohloff available?such a nice thing when spaced to fat chains.

edit:ahhh seen its on an onza or something.why, though?

That's Marks old Inspired frame. The spoke tensioners work very well. Rohloff's are good too.
