I see box mods as more of my everyday device especially with a tank set up, I use mech mod for chilling at home with a dripper as its a lot of hassle with leaking and having to have it stood up. I do think with temp control and all the new chips coming out the the future is with box mods, also box mods are safer as regulated devices.

yeah but £400 pounds in 1952 isn't £400 pounds in todays money in todays money that's £9000 so its not comparable.

28watts is fine for a lower resistance coil you sure he's not running the .5ohm coil instead of the 1.2ohm coil.?

so apart from king and hope how many people have actually tried a profile or have experience of running other hubs rather than hope? in my eyes, the pro2 is just a all mountain hub with a 6speed freewheel on it and 10mm allen key bolts its only cause the word trials is used in its marketing that people are so keen, if dirt jumpers and slopestyle riders can run mavic enduro wheel sets i don't know why people are so closed minded on other hubs!

how is a Hadley or profile shitter then exactly. i understand the dt swiss with its actual freewheel movements not being up to harder use.

So how are they different then, they are both still being made in small batches by people in Taiwan and the cost difference in tubing is probably in pence rather than £100's.

i think a Hadley might be a nice alternative i have heard good things about them and £220 not to badly priced.

I can understand both points of view, I guess inspired need to do small batches as its a limited demand for the frames and bikes which would drive the cost up but that being said ashton et frames sold for £290 and they say it was a simple frame but doesn't look to much different to a fourplay in my opinion. the bike's i have bought complete do feel well made and expensive enough to justify the price tag I've never ridden a marino so can't compare but a friend of mine has an arcade and he's had a go on a marino and said it felt off to him and he's ridden a lot of different trials bikes and knows what's what on geo. the only issue i have had with the Arcade is the bar's they are horrible i hate the way there is a massive gap between where the bars bend for the rise and the stem and they feel horrible though the Inspired high rise bars i have on my fourplay feel mint.

I also feel that maybe for 'trials' other hubs might not be up to scratch but my riding style on my fourplay is less static or hoppy I tend do do more rolling moves like hop to manuals/nose manual lines, tailwhips and 180's and inverts, so my question is even if im not doing conventional trials move's would it make that much difference or matter if I ran a 'weaker' hub because my riding style isn't as aggressive on the hub as say a more traditional trials style?

28w on a 1.2ohm coil im pretty surprised your not tasting toast when vaping that higher wattage. a 30w eleaf would let you build down to .4ohms so with a 26 guage kanthal you would need to do 5 wraps around the little blue screwdriver that comes with the subtank. I would practise wicking as that is key the subtank rba section comes with a pre built coil already installed so try wicking that and vaping it at 28watts first.

I prefer black rims, might just reuse the rim I got which is a inspired undrilled as don't seem to be for sale on tarty bikes, there really isn't much choice for hubs.

25w coil comes out at between .6 and .5. if you wanna rebuild you need kanthal (26guage works best) what are you vaping it on? Also organic cotton for wicking. the reason I ask what your vaping on depends on how low you can build the resistance. lower the resistance and the more air equals bigger clouds but some regulated devices will only allow you to build down to a certain ohm level. my eleaf 50w for example will go as low as .2ohms.

Does anyone else make there own juices find it much cheaper than buying 30ml bottles at a time, what VG/PG percentages do people run?
