  1. All the Neon frames I've got and weighed are spot on or rarely within a gram or two - which is acceptable. As far as their components go, its pretty spot on. Dunno about the Because frames though, but I agree, they seem pretty good value.
  2. thats tony j from melbourne, australia been on a ride with him and others years ago
  3. The "Mk1" frames you refer to are a totally different model to the newer "Bow" series - the latest frame offering from Neon. The chainline issue was only present among some of its older 20" models. However there are no chainline issues with the 26/20 Bow frames, which is a great thing. I'm not a light guy, quite a bike beater actually. Both 26" and 20" Bow frames ride great and are holding up to my bike-beating abilities. Can't really say. I know that the tubing isnt thin like the ones found on the XTP/XTP2 frames. Only time would be able to give you that answer, for any frame.
  4. I had them long before i posted this thread. I have Neon Bow 20" and 26" frames , both in Long and Short sizes for sale too, some in black/white and white/red. I ride a Neon Bow 26" (Long) myself and it's been my favourite out of 5 to 6 frames i've previously owned
  5. Oh And in case anyone was wondering about the thick beefy disc mount It is NOT the pic. The disc mount IS that fat!
  6. I thought I'd make a new topic for the mod, instead of posting in someone elses post on the 2nd or 3rd page in case no one ever see's it. The new frames look great, geometry of both mod and stock frames looks nice too! The stock frame geo/specs are: Wheelbase: Short 1065 mm / Long 1075 mm Chainstays: 380 mm Head angle: 71.5° BB: +42mm Weight: 1816g Color: Red/White, White/Black The mod frame geo/specs are: Wheelbase: Short 1000 mm / Long 1015 mm Chainstays: 363 mm Head angle: 71.5° BB : 65mm Weight: 1715g Color: Red/White, White/Black And below are some pics I have taken myself and found on the net:

  8. my friend's finger came off when he had one figer between the rotor and caliper, and spun the wheel without thinking he had to get it surgically reattched or some plastic surgery thing done
  9. I prefer 4bolt boosters. They may take a few seconds longer to set up than 2 bolts, but they also seem to work better for me.
  10. You guys will love the geometry. Well I do!! Both mod frames, the Bionic B-4 and B-5 have geometry specs of 1010mm wheelbase 350mm chainstays +60mm bottombracket (dont remember the headtube angle, but i think it was 72deg) frames weigh in at ~1.785kg
  11. if i were godly, i'd win on a pogo stick with no springs forget koxx and monty
  12. Neon 26" frame (first gen) they look nice and ride nice too
  13. the DOB guy has been pretty busy, havent got replies from him until yesterday
  14. nothing wrong with running a rear on the front? they are that light anyway
  15. Talked to the man himself too. Too many secrets I must agree, makes it unpleasant to deal. As potential buyers, we have a right to know where the goods originate from. Must like buying produce or eggs - whether they are from free range, caged or battery chickens.
  16. Rockman is a Singaporean brand. Rumours spreading around.. but no one has spoken to the man himself about where they are produced..
  17. I've had my Eno for almost 3 years. Serviced it around 2 weeks ago, and its still all good inside! Definitely top quality product.
  18. One of my eno's had the pawls put in a weird order I realised it when i took it apart to clean since it wasnt clicking as loud as the one on my mod I got 2 eno's after going throuhg a couple ACS's, they are awesome indeed!
  19. Dunno if they do grips, but i know they do pads
  20. The frame is 1090/+45/380/71.5, 135mm, 1.81kg If you live in Australia, you can get one through me.
  21. Good to hear it rides well! Well, even though the front end of the frame resembles a Monty Kamel, they are completely different, and will ride/feel different. I wanna get a fluro frame
  22. whats more funny if if he slips, hits his balls on the stem while he gets his shins done you could even mug him afterwards
