  1. Cant stick out that assumption till you've tried them. A lot of the bikes you see are chinese brands. Oh, i used a few different try-all bars, and echo bulge flat and riser, and now im using neons - i love them
  2. hopefully they will last long enough, and whenever it does, get another one since theyre cheap if they ride nice like the dobs
  3. 18:17 must be soooo light to ride man, loving the look, so nice
  4. "Which bars are the best" may be a bit misleading for some people. More like which bars are closest to your zoo bars. I run neon low riser bars and i absolutely love them, they feel really good, not so different from my tryall bars while they lasted. Cant wait till my mod gets built up, im gonna give those trialtech bars a try too
  5. a dob mod? i've seen a fair few videos of good chinese riders running dual disc, and havent read about any stock frame failing at the disc mount. as for snapping around the headtube, dob addressed that issue and put in a headtube gusset on their newer version of the 26" pro (available in 1065 and 1075, black/white). it should help the frame live longer
  6. nice to see some pics of their new designs cant wait to see the new paintjob, hope theyre good!
  7. i'll impregnate many women and have many children, and make an army of future pros
  8. they're pretty cheap and im sure someone said they are aluminium
  9. my previous BB, an Echo one was 128mm too. half a millimetre is almost unoticeable, or too little
  10. Respect to the man! The bike looks sweet too!
  11. Maybe blue or white, or neither of them I dont know what colour's it'll be available in. Oh, its a Neon 2nd gen stock frame, looks pretty cool and the geometry sounds mint
  12. The topic starter is riding a bionic b2 mod me, myself - echo pure 1060, soon to be a 26" Neon in a few weeks
  13. Im using a Neon ISIS BB and it's working lovely. I wouldnt say the BB's are crap.. not the ISIS ones anyway. I think the problem you have is either: - that your BB spindle is too wide, or wider than your old one. So you chainline is further out and will have the chain eating into your seat stays. - you're not running a 18-12/13 setup
  14. Last year's rim's were available in both 32 and 36 holes. This year, it appears they are 32H only. Trials UK must have made a typo. If you check up the front rims, their spec will say the front rim is 409g, which makes it heavier than the rear,
  15. The mod rims weights are as follows: 20" - 36mm - 415g (front rim) 19" - 42mm - 440g (rear) 19" - 46mm - 560g (rear)
  16. I've got my rims recently, they look to be manufactured really well. Im yet to build my new wheelset up.. just waiting for my hubs to arrive.
  17. I wouldnt call it a copy. More rather design inspired by monty.
  18. Let's drop the advertising talk? Keep on the topic - the RULONG frame itself, not about the forum and advertising.
  19. It's just news to us. Can really pass this as advertising or promotion in any way. Basically its telling us whats new in the market
  20. seems like one of them phoenix company scenario things o.o DOBbike.com no longer works - DOB died? Rulong appears. I ordered a frames and rims from DOB, and its been almost a month, and i havent received my order i've paid for being an Australian importer. It feels like i been scammed. zhi, do you know these guys? i cant get in touch with the guys from DOB
  21. This is only pic of the forks i have taken
  22. I ordered 3 sets of Neon forks, and i must say, all the welds seem to be very good compared to the set urban and control forks my bro and i have. Didnt think about take close up pics, but they seem to be great quality. The welds on the 20" frame i have are very nicely done too, i can take some pics of those.
  23. If you wanna get Neon works, get the new ones - they are Black or White. I do Neon for Australia, and the new forks definitely seem the go. The disc mounts are different, the steerer tubes are thicker (4.2mm as to 3.xmm), and dropouts dont look like crispy as the old blue/gold ones. Edit: Oh, and by the way, the new forks i measured come to: 400mm legs, 45mm sweep, and i dont know whats light or heavy to you, but they weigh 887grams.
  24. love the look of the bike dam light too!
