I did a bit of research today and found this, http://www.cptips.com/hmdesnk.htm I tried this one: Recipe #3 (using cups and quarts) 4 tablespoons sugar 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 cup boiling water 2 tablespoons lemon juice 3-3/4 cups cold water 1. In the bottom of a pitcher, dissolve the sugar and salt in the hot water. 2. Add the juice and the remaining water; chill. Yield: 1 quart Nutrition Information (per 8 ounces): Calories - 50 carbohydrate 12 grams sodium 110 milligrams potassium 30 milligrams I mixed the sugar, salt, and boiling water in a measuring jug, then poured in the lemon juice, and then put it into a 1l bottle and filled it up with cold water. It was really warm, so I ended up drinking some as soon as I had ridden to the spot, then I drank more while riding, then saved some for when I got home, and usually by this time, even after a few hours riding, I would be aching, and my legs would hurt, but I havent noticed anything at all, infact I've felt really good all day. Gonna start making it more often I think, as it only took about 5 minutes and worked really well.

f**k. Yeah.

I've only been doing them a few days so hopefully they'll get better the more I do them. Errm the stack I didn't make, just helped with it, but my mates just sawed a couple of pallets up, and put them in an upside down blue pallet, and then we nailed in some supports just so we can gap onto it. We had it higher too, it had an extra cut up pallet in vertically to offer more support. The top 2 pallets on the slanted 4 stack are nailed together (badly ) to keep them together, but most of our stuff is just stacked, not nailed.

From my findings from building BMX and trials wheels, a standard set of 36 spokes long enough for a 3x wheel (so about 184-186mm) weighs about 160g. Nipples on the other hand, alloys weigh about 10g for a set, brass weigh about 35g. EDIT: What I was trying to imply was that Ti spokes probably save about 50g, although I can't be 100% sure.

As always, loved that, well nice riding, and that gap to front is f**king huge!

Haha thanks Reece. Glad it inspired you to go out riding, I really enjoyed watching your vid with Tom by the way Haha yeah well... gotta make the most of the nice weather! Why you getting rid of the van? Getting one big enough for all 3 of our bikes I hope I'm seriously thinking about going down there with a broom and getting rid of all that damn glass! Haha my mum does a grand job of feeding me, it just doesn't do anything Glad you enjoyed the riding mate, sorry I couldn't make it to LDN (see above )

Haha I dunno about that, wasn't very big really, need to push myself more I think, but yeah, up to back on 5 is the next step, Simps was telling me off for not being able to do it earlier Hahaha yeahhh keep the abuse coming it's pretty fun there hopefully gonna keep the pallets coming and build some interesting stuff with any luck. Glad you like my frontie technique, still needs polishing I think!

I'd probably put that down as worst bodge ever.

I thought you already kept a spot book with photos in?

I think next time out I'm gonna work on certain things, like less correction hops, more track stands, shit like that, it really pisses me off.

Vimeo Link:- http://www.vimeo.com/3765549 Trials-Forum Video -> Full View • Download • Upload Well, bearing in mind I rode lots in the summer and got no footage I decided I should start filming, so I went out for about an hour and a half today and got some footage which I've put into a little edit for all of you. It's nothing special, I was riding for myself really, to see where I need to improve, but decided to upload it anyway. It's about the 6th time I've been out on the bike this year so I don't think I'm doing too badly, definitely need to ride more to get better bike control again. It's pretty repetitive, because I was mainly practising stuff to front (which has payed off, learnt them on Saturday on 4 pallets, and I successfully did 5 today for the first time everrrrr) but either way, I hope you like it, and try keep the comments positive please guys! Sorry about the dirty lens Song is Bangarang - Silver Spoon Jon

A 3G connection is likely to be a lot slower than your current connection, you also get stupid useage limits, like 1gb per day or something, I dunno how much you're online though but it's probably fairly easy to go over 1gb a day if you spend any time on youtube or watching vids on here.

Dob 20" - 8.07kg | Colony Sect - 10.66kg | Twenty Celeste - 10.07

Yeah but I didn't buy the CK new, it came on a Koxx XTP which I bought for £600 2.5 years ago so it's pretty much paid for itself. I don't go FFW because I like my King too much. Weight difference was about 90g, I guess with a HEN hub it would be closer to 150g, but I still think I can get this under 8kg now you know why I haven't put pics of the Colony up, hellloooo ghetto!! -
Yeah, at the moment I'm only working 2 days a week, so I have very little to do in the day time, my riding friends usually work until 5/6ish, and as it's so sunny I like to get out on my bike as much as I can, at the moment I'm riding pallets, and I seem to have hit a bit of a block at 5 pallets, I can do stuff on 4 easily, but then there's such a big difference between 4 and 5 that I rarely make stuff on 5. Muel that's a good idea, might try that.

The weight of the Dob is currently 8155g. I've just bought some V12 Ti axles which will drop 80g, then if I put a Try-All front tyre on that should drop it under 8kg It cost me $85 for a new hubshell, and £10 for it to be swapped over (Thanks Adam), but taking into account the whole bike... I don't know. I started buying parts for it last January, I mean looking through the parts and working it out roughly I've probably spent about £400 on it (I got the frame in exchange for some design work I did for T-UK) so it's not that bad really.
