  1. f**king sweet video man, loved it But how little pressure is Vincent running?! He rims out on the preload for this
  2. Bath bleed: http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....showtopic=65710 Or see further down the page http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/wiki/Bleeding_Magura_brakes
  3. Yeah, take it apart. I've had to do it on both of mine many times, probably end up doing it about once every 3 months on my main mouse and once every 6 months on my other mouse.
  4. Well yeah, 4 button then. Left, ball, right and sides. Tom, try taking it apart, it's a pain in the ass but you'll probably be able to fix it easily enough. I have two mighty mice which I stole from uni, good times
  5. If we're having a lightweight bike competition, bring it on
  6. Horiz 135 dropouts please, no matter what the geo is I'm a mod rider so I wont be buying one but it doesn't hurt to make suggestions
  7. 04 Echo Pure Short geo, with a Koxx style disc mount (between the stays), in vee and 4 bolt versions and I think you'd have a good seller
  8. Out of interest, why Eagle Claw front tyre? The lightest choice is Try-All front, Eagle Claw rear.
  9. I thought the Kamel came with Mono Trials anyway? EDIT: Just seen you've got Martas. It would go straight on with no adaptors but as has been said, you might need some shims.
  10. If we're going traditional, 2005(?) Pure Short geo anyone?
  11. Mine's amazing, ride my bike when it's built and you'll agree Exactly, they're being released as a compy frame, and 99% of comp manufacturers are pushing out DD frames now.
  12. Proper back brakes?! That'll be disc then.
  13. Aaaah yeah, I tried to get a load of those once.
  14. Haha well mine's got a "super-heavy duty steel rear axle" and also an ISO hubshell so you're bound to win.
  15. Errrm.... Headset is 102g (not including top bolt) could probably go lighter. Front hub is about 150g, could maybe go lighter if I could find a nice 32h disc hub Front tyre is a Creepy Crawler (582g), but I've got a Try-All on the way to try out which will be lighter BB is an FSA Platinum Pro (236 + 34g bolts), could get Monty alloy crank bolts (which I'm gonna) or a Reset Ti BB (£100) Pedals are DMR V12 Mag Ti's (313g) if I got some Wellgo MG-1's and cut them I could save maybe as much as 50g there Rear hub is a CK (356g + 44g bolts), if I went FFW with the right setup I could save about 90g Rear tyre is a Creepy Crawler (933g) but I've got an Eagle Claw to put on soon (883g) I mean I could probably save another 100-200g if I bought all the parts I've just listed, but it would probably cost me about... £350. I never wanna give up my King, so I'm not gonna save any weight there, and I'm not too fussed about the pedals, I mean maybe when my V12s die I'll get some Wellgos, but for now the V12s are fine. If the BB wasn't so expensive I'd consider it, but I mean until my current stuff breaks, I'm not gonna replace anything.
  16. I see where you're coming from, but I'm willing to try it out anyway.
  17. It's a bit gay, the frame is about 550g heavier in its standard form, so I'm gonna get rid of the bash mounts (which I wont be using) when it arrives, then just gonna ride it and upgrade to lighter parts over time.
  18. Keep the geo and colour of that Limey, add a disc mount and I'll take one, that's f**king gorgeous!! EDIT: Just wanted to back that point up, seriously please.
  19. For some reason I'm listening to this, http://www.itribu.com/sites/fcuk/zik_14072007100909.mp3 It's f**king excellent.
  20. I wrote that list out about 5 minutes earlier on MSN anyway for Luke plus I wanted to show just how anal I can be
  21. If you don't understand or care why people want to make light bikes, then what's the point in arguing? If you wanna know how far some people go when it comes to weighing parts, here's a list of what I've weighed. Frame, forks, headset, top bolt, top cap, headset spacers, bars, stem (with bolts), grips, front brake, front caliper bolts, rotor, rotor bolts, rim, hub, hub bolts, spokes, nipples, tube, tyre, rim tape, cranks, bash, sprocket, bb, bb bolts, pedals, chain, rear brake, rear caliper bolts, rotor, rotor bolts, rim, hub, hub bolts, snail cams, spokes, nipples, tube, tyre, rim tape. I've got it all written down in a spreadsheet, and have 3 more tables which have estimated weights (marked in red) for parts which I hope to buy soon. All the current parts which I know are right, are marked in green. That's how I managed to get my Dob down to 8.07kg, and that's how I'll manage to get my Bionic down to around 8.25kg with any luck
  22. Try PMing Sam Oliver, he rode one for a while.
