  1. If you phone them up asking to cancel the contract, they will transfer you to "O2 customer retention" where they will basically grovel for your custom. I got my £25 tariff halved in price (same minutes etc) plus a new phone (basically any of the "free" ones when you start a contract). I got a d500 when they came out first, and boshed it on eBay for £200. All because I threatened to cancel the O2 contract and phone Orange... However, the exec is pretty expensive really, so I don't know if I would expect it any cheaper than £150... What about the xda mini? At the end of the day, a £15 contract for a year compared with £30 will save £180, so it's maybe worth haggling the contract down and not worry too much about the price of the phone. Plus if you keep the contract for longer than a year then you're in the money :P
  2. Oooh you are sooo making me hungry :turned:
  3. Man that's shit. I see what you mean Rich. The first one much better. PS I got under 30 seconds total for the first one the other day :turned:
  4. Yeah but they could have just written that. Doesn't mean the site is legit at all? Argh it probably is, there seems to be far more money in legal internet shops than scamming people.
  5. You don't die from heart failure when you're 38 though, especially not in someone who is presumably pretty fit, unless you've done some serious damage to your body in the form of drugs/alcohol.

    Shit Bmx

Yeah you probably can. In fact I've seen the videos to prove it. But whether or not you can do it on a czar, it'll be easier on something shorter. But then again taps will be more difficult, so it's horses for courses really. I'm not about to buy a barge any time soon :P
  7. You need to add the game to the "exceptions" list in Norton, that way Norton won't block it. I wouldn't worry about it, Windows Firewall is alright at keeping the crap out, not sure why anyone would pay for Norton. If anyone is worried about it though, get ZoneAlarm (google...) which I'm sure is as good as Norton, but it's free. But if you're behind a router (with a proper firewall) then I doubt you need anything :)

I'm pretty sure you won't get cancer from riding trials...

    Guess The Weight!

    1) Would it really be worth it for the chance to win a second hand Magura? 2) Weights on websites are very rarely right :P
  10. Haha, I put a metal pan lid in the microwave (covering some peas) for 5 minutes on full power and nothing happened to the microwave  Or ketchup if you don't have puree :ermm:
  11. D'Oh  I put the codes in the other day but I've not heard from them...
  12. Possibly. Unlikey, but then again what kind of site doesn't have secure ordering? I would probably avoid them, or ring them up if you think they're kosher.
  13. You do know that the "bath method" isn't the normal way of doing it, right? You only need a bit of anti-freeze - I think 1 part anti-freeze, 9 parts water is good for down to -15 or something. Basically the more anti-freeze you use, the colder it will work at.
  14. Definitely get one with the rev counter. Otherwise what's the point? Apart from that, just get any.

    Xbox 360

Heatpipes aren't watercooling. Well not really anyway, they don't count  Some of them will work, but apparently they all need patching. So when you put an original xbox game in the drive, it looks for the patch and if necessary downloads it from the internet. At the moment there are about 200 original xbox games that will work on the 360, but they are working on more.

    Guess The Weight!

We are gonna want a bit more info than that. Unless you just wanna make us take wild guesses? And have you actually weighed it properly?
  17. It'll only come up on the page where you put the card details in, pages for entering information like name, address, email etc are usually not secure. There are other secure protocols besides https, but I don't know if they ever get used. Either way, just look for the padlock

    Online Games

You would be rubbish if you never played it before :ermm:
  19. I know WWF isn't very cool, but it doesn't pretend to be real. It's just like any other soap on TV, except that it's aimed at jumped up fat american kids  You gotta think that death from a heart attack at his age probably had something to do with something he took.
  20. You can tell if you're on a secure web page really easily: If you're using IE, there will be a little padlock in the bottom-right of the screen like this: If you're on Firefox, the address bar turns a different colour (I think yellow is default but it changes depending on what theme you're using) and there is a padlock to the right of the address bar:
  21. If you can get the front wheel down right on the edge of the object, the back end will come up easier into like an endo, rather than rolling onto the object (or even skidding). So aim for the corner. The only problem is if you come up a bit short...

    Xbox 360

Nope it's not. Anandtech took one apart, you can see for yourself what's inside, if you care
  23. Everyone says EBC reds are amazing, but my Avid disc was awsome with standard pads, better than my mate's with EBC reds. Although obviously there are other reasons why mine might have been better (contamination etc).

    Carbon-fiber
