You ever heard of terminal velocity? :ermm: That is a cool advert though, thanks for posting :ermm:

Yeah, gapping without pedalling is REALLY hard. You can try letting your tyres down to silly pressures, that makes it easier sometimes. Also I find it easier on mod bikes, but I can't say I've really tried very much. I can only do about 2 ft max though, some people can maybe do 4ft. Not much more than that though. The only thing it's really useful for is hopping to the edge of a drop/gap or something really precisely, in which case you only need to move a few centimetres. 1. Don't worry about it. I have a friend who does almost a 180* rotation with the cranks, yet he could gap 8ft. It will depend on how you gap too - if you do a "pinch" gap (which is what the UCI boys seem to be doing at the moment), you can't pedal very much anyway. Whereas if you take off from the flat, you can roll further and pedal harder, but you don't get the upwards bounce. I don't think there's much in it in terms of which technique is "best", but I reckon people can go slightly further using the pinch gap. 2. That will probably just come naturally as you go bigger. Don't worry about it really. The video doesn't work for me, but if you are getting 5.5ft, you are clearly doing something right. It'll come with practise.

Well call it by what it is actually called then. I'm sure indian genres of music have their own name. And not just pushing under a big umbrella of "music made by people who aren't white" aka Black music.

iTunes does videos now though doesn't it?

Alternatively: Brown amber, auburn, bay, beige, bister, brick, bronze, buff, burnt sienna, chestnut, chocolate, cinnamon, cocoa, coffee, copper, drab, dust, ecru, fawn, ginger, hazel, henna, khaki, mahogany, nut, ochre, puce, russet, rust, sepia, snuff-colored, sorrel, tan, tawny, terra-cotta, toast, umber Ok that doesn't mean anything, but my point is that "black" people aren't actually black which basically goes against your argument. But anyway, I'm just being obtuse. If the English language is so inherently racist, are other languages different in their use of colours as descriptions?

I bought a bike from Halfords, it's good. Admittedly it is a road bike, but it's pretty good for the money. I do agree though, they mostly have no idea about decent bikes. But that's not what they do, they sell bikes for the general public, not enthusiasts. I would never in a million years let them look at my bike though, the last time I went in I was seen by a guy who looked about 13 (Y)

Worth watching, if only for the rather queer synchronised endo-ing at the end :P

Not till after Christmas, apparently. And I'm sure I heard that it won't necessarily be sub-£200. Let's hope though :)

10Mb lines means 10 Megabit not megabyte. There are 8 bits in a byte, so a 10Megabit line will download at 10/8 megabytes per second = 1.25 megabytes/second :P

I would say much closer to 71 than 74. And 360 is very unlikely, if not impossible. More like 370 or 380 (Leeson Fluids are 380).

Nah, I bet the reasons are cultural I'm sure. There isn't that much difference between black people and white people (physiologically) anyway, and besides, who rides trials because they are naturally gifted at it? I will be the first person to say I'm not a naturally amazing trials rider. There are one or two people that are but that's luck, I doubt they knew they would be good at trials before they started.

Ahahahahahahaha  Nah, a tap is what I believe you would call a faucet.
-
Do you know what a tap is? We're talking bathrooms.

I had a GT Talera like this one, only mine was a nice dark green. Then I got a DMR Sidekick which I don't have a picture of. First proper trials bike was a Zebdi about a year later: Damn that bike was the sex, I want it back! Note the tyre I used for the seat on the Zebdi was the one off my GT

You could have just bought a front disc I think. Although I can never remember which way round it is, I think the back needs a 20mm smaller disc for the same caliper (but it might be the other way around). I guess the Kot just has a universal disk mount so you can easily swap discs from front to back and stuff. Although you might have lever troubles...

Just because you don't like football doesn't mean footballers are worthless and deserve to die. I could probably live without you, or anyone else on here for that matter. Do you deserve to die?

I call them rollbacks too, but I didn't think that was the prefered term :) If you wanna add me to MSN, I've got a video of some guy doing a "rollback" for aaaaaages. It's called amazing_nose_wheelie.avi, and I've not been able to find it online (recenetly). If your mate could beat that I would be seriously impressed. And it's gonna f**k you up because it's about a foot longer than an Orange Zero (OK, that's a slight exaggeration but you get the point), and it won't be half as good for all that spinny shizzle.
-
Wow that was awsome. Some of the noserolls by the guy on the Reefer (?) were awsome. And a 540 G-turn at the end? Blimey. Download everyone :) The video looks like it's about 5 years old, and that's a good thing in my eyes. Not a drop-gap sight. That Kot is gonna really f**k you up...

Open my computer and click tools > folder options > file types. If you choose jpg from the list, click "change" next to "opens with" then it will ask which application should open that file type. That will do what you want to do for pictures. But for videos, that would take aaaaages because you'd have to change about 10 file types (.mpg, .mpeg, .avi, .wmv etc). So just do what Sameer said and change it in Windows Media Player. If Nero still tries to open files even after you've changed it in Windows Media Player (It shouldn't), then you'll have to fag about with the Nero options.

Yes, thank you Dr Mark Hamilton, but what caused that?

Was it alcohol that finally killed him? He died of a kidney infection that spread to the rest of his body. Now that was caused by the immunosuppressive drugs he had after having the first transplant in 2002 (?). I don't exactly know the cause of his death and I bet no-one on here does. To say that he deserved to die is stupid. He was one of the best footballers in the world. Pelé said he was THE best. I bet he had more of a positive impact on more people's lives than anyone reading this topic will ever manage. So everyone shut up and let him RIP.

Yeah, eBay is shit. They are all like 99p Buy it Now + £45 postage. And there are so many of them about on eBay that you can never find anyone selling anything second hand amongst all the Hong Kong ones.
-
Yeah, it'll still work fine. Like Haz says it'll be slower - as slow as a USB 1.1 device is (I think that's 12MBps, compared to 480 for USB2). But I wouldn't worry about it too much anyway.
