A friend of mine used a Slime pinch protector thing for rim tape. That's nice and green. Or use a Hutchinson DH tube with no rim tape at all. Although I would make sure there's no sharp edges on your dodgy far-eastern rims (Y)

Even bog-standard miniDV starts at about £200+. Quite expensive really. He's probably just using a digital stills camera that can record in QT (like mine) - so the quality will always be pretty wank :blink:

One's 20" and one's 26"? :blink: And no, my Koxx frame is nt a T-Rex in disguise. It has completely a different tubeset/droupouts/headtube/BB shell/geometry. It's different. Whereas that bike has the same tubes/dropouts/headtube/bb shell as a T-Rex. Only the geometry is changed, hence it is a T-Rex with tweaked geometry. Jebus.

I would cry if I had to lock out my Hope by a bodge though. It's a bit stupid having a £90 hub and using it like a shitty deore and some weld. Nah, you can use a black one too. As long as it's a magura one :blink: There are plenty of instructions around, search on Google or whatever. Maybe check the FAQ too.
