  1. As the ERD is on Tarty's site, you could have done that yourself, by using the dtswiss spoke calculator http://www.dtswiss.com/index.asp?fuseactio...amp;language=en

Funny thing is, whenever you have to hurry up to reach the toilet in time, you always make it in the last second. You just have the one second left to pull your pants down and then it shoots out!

lol @thread What you all think of the teflon aka torpedo ones? I mean the ones that disappear right after hitting the water and going straight down the pipe Must have something to do with the speed?
  8. I worked at SIXT (rental cars) and BMW, so I had the chance to ride cars I will never be able to afford Mercedes: SLK CLK S 320 several E, C and A models BMW: M5, M3 (Coupé also) 750iL or 760iL - I don't remember... it was the long version, with tv screens in the back of the front seats! That was fun Several other 7xx models X5 3.0d 530d , 520i 320d, 320i Mini and others Audi: TT A3, A4, A6 VW: Phaeton Golf, Lupo and others Other cars like Opel, Volvo, Ford, Renault, MG, Smart Roadster, Crysler Voyager etc. That's about it! Who can beat that? Favourite one was the S-Class... soooo smooth! And the BMW Ms where beasts! It was kind of scary when you sit in it and start the engine lol Awesome sound!
  9. Ok I see what u mean. But wouldn't it be stronger, if the weld is further away from the bolt hole/disc brake forces? Like this
  10. Why not just send an email and tell them what you need? Or doesn't that work either?
  11. Cool thanks. Maybe my last pic was a little overkill... What about this here? A solid one piece dropout/disc mount (yellow), then the welds (red) and a gusset.
  12. So you mean the part of the disc mount I've marked in the pic, should overlap the chainstays? Which it does in the pic... Problem is, my disc mount was placed totally wrong. The one in the pic here is a standard IS mount, but it should be a +40mm. When the mount is further left, it overlaps the chainstay - then it will be fine? So if I got it right, the best solution would actually be to make a massive dropout/disc mount like on the pic? I know it looks shit and would weigh a ton... but it would be the strongest?
  13. Alright, I'll see if I make it any stronger. The added weight shouldn't really matter, as the frame weighs already 2,3 kg
  14. Yeah the first one is mine... but the disc mount was placed totally wrong. Is that gusset strong enough? Or should I make it 20mm (instead of 10mm)?
  15. I already had a look at the website... but it's so confusing, I didn't really get what I wanted. A guy from the UK sent me some stuff to Germany. It was some sort of standard airmail parcel, cheapest available, with a certificate of posting. It wasn't airsure parcel or whatever. It was sent on the 3rd of August, but still hasn't arrived. That's why I'm wondering which shipping method it was sent with. Have a look at this http://www.royalmail.com/portal/rm/content...;mediaId=400391 According to the second table, it takes 10-11 for an "economy" parcel to arrive. Considering a few days delay due this bomb terror thing in the UK, my parcel's maybe still on schedule? Maybe someone has a post office just down the street and can ask, if there are different ways of sending something via airmail. Priority/Economy/standard. That would help me a lot, as it's a bad feeling, when you don't know what's up... Thanks in advance!
  16. hey there... I just got my custom frame. A few things didn't turn out the way I ordered it... so it's going back --> Chance to redesign it. I just wanted to get your opinions on that disc mount. The dropout is 10mm thick, cnc'ed I guess. And there's a gusset, about 10mm thick. So what you think? Is the gusset strong/big enough? Could it be placed better? There are several disc mount designs out there, which one do you consider the best? Not just by the looks of course More from the technical side! Also, what's the best place for the gusset? Simtra MKB Megamo
  17. Onzaboymark has a spare bike in his backpack lol
  18. I thought Lidl is only in Germany Imo there is no need to buy an expensive tool kit from ParkTool or whatever, unless you work at a bike shop and need the tools every day. The only quality tools I'd buy is a bb tool with a good wrench, a crank puller, spoke key and maybe a chain link extractor. All the other tools can be of a minor quality - depends on how often they're used though... But I've been using mine for several years and never had a problem with them.

    Arm Pump!

I had this feeling when I was riding comps some years ago. At the end of the section I could hardly pull the brakes. I also felt it when I didn't eat or drink enough before riding. But if you keep on riding with that "pumped feeling" it can leed to muscle cramps, which can be pretty painful. So a lack of arm muscels isn't the only reason. Like I said, it also appears when you didn't drink or eat enough before/during riding...
  20. Isn't the 2005 the ugly one on the pic? Then I'd think twice about which one to go for

    Oldschool Ot Pi Vid

That is part of a 60 or 90min video... don't remember exactly... called "Technique of Ot Pi". Too bad I've sold it to someone on the forum here. Impressive riding! He had amazing skills these days... The bikes have improved a lot and make it easier to do certain techniques. Some years ago the technique and the rider himself was a lot more important than today I'd say. Today you can compensate a lot with a long, leight weight bike...
  23. lol are you serious? Come on, that would be REALLY difficult to produce...
