  1. I'l be getting into Euston for 10:13 and Rich and a few others are gonna be in at 10:25.
  2. Yeah, gimme a call when you get into Euston, i'l try and find you guys then. No: 07533356898
  3. With the amount of people that have booked hotels/flights/trains and ferries, there is still going to be a huge amount of rider's whatever the weather. The only thing that'll ruin the day weather wise, is for it to chuck it down all day. Spit/ drizzle/light rain, not a problem, just a bit of water, it's not gonna hurt anyone plus its quite fun riding in wet conditions. Though dry conditions is preferable.
  4. I've spent atleast £80 over the last week with tartybikes, bought new rear rim and spokes and tensile offset mounts and 74kingz tension spring.
  5. Just checked trains from watford junction to euston on national rail and there's no problem. I'm getting the 9:53 from watford junction and arriving at euston 10:13.
  6. Cheers Steve, much appreciated, especially since looking at trains back to Bournemouth are only going as far as Eastleigh.
  7. Change of plan for me, looks like I'm gonna be staying in Watford Saturday night, so is anyone getting the train from Watford?
  8. Phil Williams is ment to be coming, dunno if he's bringing anyone else or how he's getting down, but maybe worth contacting him.
  9. I'm running a Schwalbe Big Betty tyre with a Schwalbe heavy duty tube. Been running it since last October and had 1 puncture.
  10. Hey Sam what time you getting into Paddington, I'l be getting the train in from Reading.
  11. Well done Rich for getting on the team for 2009, I reckon this year is gonna be a cracker. Bike looks sweet, new you'd love it, there's nothing to not like about them. Based on geo they do sound a bit iffy, but they ride amazingly. Will be cool to have the whole team together on the London ride.
  12. Thats alot of bikes for a train service that never seems to have any bike storage, loll
  13. Nice riding there Scott, but that first track was awful, shame really. On the whole your street riding is getting really good, maybe you wont be so good at natural anymore, give us a chance at the Hampshires, lol.
  14. I'm gonna get the train in now. Reading to Paddington, What time you thinking of leaving Paddington for Shell? I'm looking at getting into Paddington for 10:05, then a nice casual cycle across the city.
  15. Was looking at getting there for 11. I'l have to see what happens, not sure if I'm definately getting the train yet.
  16. Yeah you can, but it's almost 2 hrs on the train, for some reason, where as Reading to Paddington is about 30/40 mins. Are you getting the train all the way from Lostwithiel? Fair play to you if you are, just looked at train times from there, bout 15 hrs, thats nuts for a 1 day ride. I looked on google map, it's more or less straight down, I've done it before it's too bad, but easy to get ofcourse, lol. Probably take 10/15 mins.
  17. Bikes can only be taken on the circle line (yellow). They wont let you take any bikes on any other tube line. At the moment it looks like I'm gonna be getting the train in from Reading to London. I got a choice though, either spend 30 mons on train to London Paddington, or 1hr 50 to London Waterloo. I've just been on tfl and the circle line doesn't run the full line on that day, so that won't get us anywhere to waterloo. So looks like a ride from Paddington then.
  18. I know Fletch went for it a for years back, but did the same as Lee, landed to vertical and stepped back into the water. I've done the smaller bit, though alot easier still very daunting, with all that water beneath you. Would love to try the big bit, but not counting on doing it on this ride.
  19. I'l be riding a Phase 1.2, wearing a MAD team top. There could potentially be 5 of us on identical bike's wearing identical gear, so just ask one of us if it's me, if not they'll point out where I am. I shall be there for 11.
  20. You after some spare links for the KHE collapse chain. i've got some, not sure how many, but basically it's unused from when I fitted the chain to my bike.
  21. I'l be in Earley on Wokingham Road, though Sian is debating about coming so she would drive, I'l let you know asap.
