I understand the offside rule but don't understand what determines whether a free kick is direct or indirect...
It's pretty much.
Direct freekick for most fouls. (a propper foul, e.g the player gets studded or tripped up or doesn't get the ball in a tackle).
In direct for fouls like obstruction, pass backs, ref stopping play, pretty much anything not deemed dangerous.

We are both at zero goal difference at the moment though, but USA have scored 2 more goals than us. So we'd have to draw 3-3 and them 0-0 to go through like that?

Also if England draw and USA draw then we can still go through somehow. The goal difference will still be the same but I'm not sure how it works after that. It might be on who was drawn in the group first.

No, if USA win by 2 goals and we win by only 1, we're out.
That's wrong.
If England win against Slovenia then we are through, it doesn't matter how many goals we score or how many USA scores.
If USA win, they are through and so are England. We will both have 5 points and the other 2 teams will have 4 and 1.
The goal difference will come into effect if USA and England win (so both teams will go through on 5 points) but to determine who wins the group will be goal difference.

I just updated to Os4.0 and lost of few apps, I'm still trying to find out which ones, I know I lost Shazam the paid version and Facebook. I done a app sync before I updated too

Some others:
Flixster - Instant cinema times, automatically finds your closest cinemas and you can add favourites. Very good.
TVguide - What it says on the tin, easier than going into epg mode on freeview.
Geodefense - Strategy type game, very addictive.
Runkeeper - GPS tracking for when running or cycling. Tells you how fast your going, avg speed, time, distance and at the end you can view it on a map and upload it to the website. Supper app. The Paid version is £5.99 I think but it's worth it if you run, even walk or cycle for exercise. It'll auto play a playlist and give you voice updates of your time etc. There is a free version with not as many features.
Skate it - Pretty good considering it's on a phone.
And this has been said before but it's the best app going and that is Shazam.

No.
The latest chipset which has been out for about a year and been in the now older Xbox called Jasper uses less power and generates less heat so it doesn't have any problems. No doubt this version will have the same improved chipset.

Further down the beach towards Liverpool (near the windmills) there are much more/better rocks than outside the lifeboat station. Just incase you don't know they're there.
I might be busy this week but I only live 6 miles away from there so I'll see if I can get out one evening.

There's nothing wrong with those tensioners. Don't go mad tightening them up, they don't need to be over tightened which is why they'd bend.

You could look at this as quite an astute observation by the people who say it. The people who are photographed most often (I'm thinking specifically of B-Z list celebrities here, but it could be said to apply to anyone I guess) seem to have 'less of a soul' than those of us who are rarely photographed...

£24 for a 2.5 i think. I'm fairly cerain it was 2.5 but i looked at quite a few that day. Halfords are crap, they told me the other day they had tried to get in barrel adjusters for rear mechs but never found where to buy them from. Hmmm, who makes rear mechs? Maybe try shimano?
They need to look for a cable adjusting bolt unit, not a barrel adjuster and they are available from the Shimano distributor haha, numpties.

Why? They're a normal 1 1/8" steerer.
Unless I'm being stupid and missing something glaringly obvious, they should fit on pretty much any frame. (dependant on steerer length).

As said before the amount of work and materials used to make the products will effect the price dramaticly. However one way about the price problem is by being close friends with your local bike shop, pro riders etc. They can pick up parts cheaper at "trade price" and sell the part to you without making a profit which we know as "retail price".
And who does that?
