So all this is James fault over 1 post, although tarty was moaning about my post? Tut tut. Again, whatever James wants to say is up to him, maybe you should talk to him, on the forum he is still james_porter, if he wants to put "I'm using some stem I got from selectbikes, and it's the best Ive had" that's fine in my books, even if it had another shop name in there, again it's all over the forum and it doesnt matter if it's james porter or random joe, it's still the same. You could say a lot of people support certain shops, you see it in everybodys signatures, then you read other posts by them, and you see them supporting a shop and basically advertising that shop, it seems exactly the same to me. (another word for this may be bumming :D" ) Phil.

LMAO, I was sitting there for 5 mins wondering what the hell that picture was for, then I refreshed and saw you edited it lol, that consused me :)

OK, I understand about that, but maybe it's just about seeing how much it happens, and whether it gets noticed much, because comment s like that (the dan ko example) will never be made by shops wanting to advertise, therefore you would have to enforce rules on the whole forum, shops cannot take the blame for what other forum members say. It's all over the forums about "you can get it from tartybikes or selectbikes ect etc" it's everywhere, posted by random forum members, what do you do about that?? to me that would seem ok though aslong as it's not done blatently by a shop it would have to be a genuine bit of information to help people because if somebody doesn't say it, then where would they get this that part they want for the weekend or whatever??? Phil.

I'm not saying it will last, I have no idea, nobody has used one, I was only saying why it is the price it is.

I'm not responsable for what people put on the forum, I just help the guy ride trials, although i don't see much difference if he did put the "you should go buy them now" bit in a post it won't change anything, it would seem like an opinion, because this rider might use one and know how good they are so they say so, I see LOTS of people saying "get these they are great" "you want this or that", these are just random people on the forum, but it doesnt make any difference if this person is sponsored or not. I don't think that is the problem to be honest. Infact i don't actually know what the problem is, there was no problem untill tarty started to moan about not breaking any rules, it's only been 1 topic. What are the problems, I don't hardly see any advertising on the forum, I don't actually think there is anything wrong, I think I have broke the rules once in a BT fork topic, which is really strange, no idea why i put that in, but it should be deleted, I know the rules and I stick to them just like every other shop here with a lttle here and there but wouldnt effect other companies from wanting to buy banners. Phil.

Ye, if you look at the amount of work that's gone into the frame, from designing, material, waste material, production, finsihing, testing, CNC programming, fixtures for each CNC bit, different programs for each CNC bit, computer testing etc etc, it all adds up, which would explain why it's the price it is, I think it's a lot of frame for the money, so much work gone into making it. I think it's set out to be the top of the line ultimate frame aswell. Phil.

Onzaboy, I'd just like to make sure you don't think I put James up to making that post on the other topic, Like dan ko does, I DID NOT DO THAT and never have done, james happened to reply after me and that is all it was, It would be a bit obvious aswell wouldn't it. Phil.

The first few shoes made did have this problem, The orders got delayed and a new sole was put on the shoes, which has apparently solved the problem. Phil.

I agree Tom, but it couldn't be helped. I'm going to be childish now and do say something I havn't said for years but: He started it. It would have been a happy thread, I really don't think I can take any blame for that. But Tom, this is quite a pointless post really, it can quite easilly start it rolling again, it's asking for handbags. Maybe just PM Tom or Danny if you have problems with the forum. Phil.

Unfortunately we don't have these :P but we have black hair die, STAY AWAY, I'll use it. Phil.

Hats off to you. I nearly got one of sexy_mikes bird on his bike the other day, darn. Phil.

Ye your right, It's only allowed when you can type tartyspeechâ„¢ but that's too hard to do therefore everybody breaks the rules. Dave, I am a ginger boy, but only because I chose to be :D Matt I want you a dual, with ginger sticks and cats, we'll see who wins :P Phil.

Adam I think your are trying to wiggle your way out of this. Lets just go back to what i said which you where not happy about: Now, a post which you posted about the vario styx WHAT IS THE THE DIFFERENCE???????? neither of us have put a shop name prices, just the availablilty. If that is not a sales pitch from the link i gave you to a topic where dave posted I dont know how it cant be, wrote about the product then gave a link to YOUR website with the pictures, THAT IS TRYING TO SELL SOMETHING, i know you might not think it is, but it's sneeky way of doing it, but I suppose it's ok if you do it. Also, all your excuses about rule number 9, rule number 9 can get you out of anything, You are clearly using "sales pitches" if you are linking to your website where you can buy it from THAT IS TRYING TO SELL IT, it's quite clear, why can you not allow links in signatures but your allowed links in topics to your website, you are contradicting the rules. Also about that BT topic RAV made about the BT 6.0 I have just red the rule: "8. Posting details of unique new products which will be of interest to the forum members is encouraged as long as it is worded as a product release and not a sales pitch. In this case it should be up to the manufacturer/importer to be posting this information, not, for example, a shop." Therefore the manufacture posted the topic not myself, so the whole topic where you started moaning about the "advertising" could have been easilyl cleared up by you looking at the rules. It appears I have advertised on a topic in the past, about the BT forks, very sorry, I accept my misstake, maybe it should have been deleted?? I cannot understand why you ALWAYS have to be right, I can't actually believe your trying to wriggle out of your rule breaking, I'm amazed, you must be able to accept that, instead of making all these excuses up about watermarks and rule number 9 which you are not obiding it's all rubbish. My post is perfectly acceptable, get on with it. Phil.

http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....7&hl=tartybikes The above, using pictures which is fine, but clearly saying a website on the pictures with the .co.uk bit and prices etc. http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....topic=55904&hl= The above, 2nd post down made by "tartridge" exactly the same as I said just worded slightly diffferent - "The first batch of productions frames has now landed in the UK, and should be avaliable next week!" http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....6&hl=tartybikes 9th post down made by "dave@tartybikes" clear link to the website. To me Adam your being very petty, I'm not exactly sure for your reasons, that seemed like a very pointless comment you made. so you say where you have made done your dirty linking well there you can see, and you can see from jame's post aswell. I'm confused by the problem of my post anyway, you have blatently advertised for bikedock with the phone number aswell as the link to the website. So you advertised there. But what I said, I didnt even say a shop name price just said they are in stock, as you said it could be bikedock, it's not even advertising anyway, somebody asked when and where so it was answered, I don't see the problem. Phil.

There is a shop with them in now, but only a very small qty. Phil.

Ive had one for ages, they work really well, you can feel your arms going mad, but I never get it out. Should do though. Phil.

Wayne, that's bang on, rules are rules like, but it seems like people try and have it in for you man, like at round 1 (did you know there was a complaint then aswell). It's more of a "could you be bothered" thing to actually complain about that, they obviously know it's a ball ache rule, so there must be other reasons why it's been put forward. And the thing about riding addingham a few days before the trial, LMAO, even if you did, nice one, it's the clever thing to do, to get practice in. There is a lot of rule speculation going about, I noticed a lot, I also heard your bird talking about people swearing and she didn't sound very happy, I was going to say that it's a possible 50 penalty points for swearing, but that would be petty ay. I also saw a few people chucking there bikes after they fived sections, that's obviously there choice, but you will enjoy yourself and defo do better in the other sections if you just controll yourself, I used to do that about 5 years, but got over it, and tend to just laugh it out.(to people who do it, take it or leave it) I think most riders do get on with eachother, and if they don't, people seem to stay away from everybody concerned, I always end up talking to loads of people and everybody seems to be happy to chat, I don't notice too much unfriendlyness?? in comps, everything seems happy on the day. Don;t get worked up wayne, just forget about it, U done shit hot yesterday that's why you won, simple  Phil.

If you actually go into the shop, it's a really good shop and the guys are really sound, Ive been in there, and an order come through on the website, and it got printed off straight away and one of the workers went to the post office straight away, also dylan clayton isn't there any more as he has his own shop in warrington now, so maybe that's why it's been poo recently. Phil.

That person is Ling Ying, he's a cool guy. Phil.

Ah, that was brill, so funny, that guy was quick, and how dumb was the guy or woman :shifty: (don't know what it was) at the end. :shifty: Phil.

JEBUS, that's really bad, I would expect it to be pretty bad around childwall and toxteth but not and insane amount like that just beacause of an address, madness. phil.

There is no space for a front freewheel true, but most stock riders in the UK do not run front freewheel, and if they do, this shouldnt be the frame choice for them. The frame is +20 bb so it's not too mad. The BB and Yoke area is solid enough to prevent flex because of the long BB so there won't be a problem. You would also get better balance from a longer Bottom brackt aswell as the short chain stays and a +20 bb rise, so I would expect the frame to be the most controlable frame available. As you say, the only bad point is the lack of Bottom backets, the only Bottom brackets available are the ISIS bottom brackets which i will be doing with the frame, but if people don;t have ISIS cranks I would be prepared to do different frame deals to supply the frame bb and cranks with it. Phil.

Great riding, but a bit repetative and boring, but the riding was awsome. Phil.

Ye it's rubbish, Cornwall is where it's at, cheap cheap cheap. Funny thing is Liverool is not that bad, it's a lot better than other cities in England, but probably more excuses from rip of insurances to make the bill higher. (John, ignore that you nearly got beaten by a gang in a car with baseball bats) :- Phil.

I know what you mean, sure you can easilly make some very hard sections out of that, for all catagories, but it doesn't give a very exciting trial, they are just sea defence rocks, if you see what other competition venues are like you will understand why these sea defence rocks will not be such a great thing, the venue has to be really good to get a lot of people to go, if they are just these rocks think the turnout will be poor. There is a quarry in flint, it gets worked on in certain parts, but maybe it's worth a try to se if it's possible to ride there, it's always changing. There must be rocky locations everywhere around betws-y-coed or more inland than that, just have to find them, maybe farmers land, have you tried getting that pass from snowdonia nationl park to use there land? My thoughts anyway. Phil.
