  1. I think long bikes are better than short for a load of reasons, So I will say the bad points instead of all the good points: No better for sidehopping no better for bunnyhopping or pedal hop upping :( NO betetr for spinning street stuff etc Doesn't fit in ramps, lol, so don't try fufanus and land front first on the flat, it hurts. :(" Phil.
  2. It's not stiff, and it's not a booster to stop flex, all it is, is another way of clamping the magura down, so the bolts push against the booster not the frame, it's all a swizz, it's not a "brake" booster at all. Phil.
  3. I think Adams right, a very strange theory there, exceptions to Wigan :P Phil.
  4. Even shoes which just have a small amount of material covering the ankles, is a lot better than having no ankle support. If you tighten your shoes properly then you can feel the difference, it makes it a LOT harder to roll over onto your ankle, so I would defo have ankle support now, as it does make you feel more comfortable on the bike, and when you jump back and your ankle goes to roll, your foot kind of stops and springs back. Trials shoes = well worth it, whether it be ribo, koxx, yik or monty, they are worth it. Phil.
  5. It's because you don't have a BT anymore innit (Y)
  6. Or, you can already get them like that new (Y)" Anyway, ive seen loads like this, even ENO's and there hasn't been a problem, so I think yours shouldn't be a problem, unless it really starts to come loose, your best to check it every day, make sure it's tight, then nothing can get inside, and you won;t damage the internals. Plus it won't skip as much when tight. Phil.
  7. 54" onto something he has done. I have done 46", 45" is my limit now on stock, but gettin better gradually, 43" over aswell. Phil.
  8. The latest Echo hubs, come with wide flange spacing for wide rims, which gives a stronger wheel build, stronger material and design for the freehub and comes with bolts and washers. Phil
  9. Now that is great service for a competition (Y) Phil.
  10. Ye, they arn't on the site yet, I should have them by the end of the week or start of next week, by then, they will be on the website. Phil.
  11. Great ride, really enjoyed it, kinda knackered maself next day, should be a vid in a near future. Phil.
  12. The rules state you must carry your own bag and your own bike between sections :) , just incase, but I doubt you will have any problems we arn't in Spain or France. :S Phil.
  13. When I meant, "me" I meant Mike, as i was on Mikes account, but then I put my name at the bottom, which I didn't even realise I done. Phil.
  14. They shouldn't have had to bring otu a new un, It's what it should have been like in the first place, because the originals where pants. Phil.
  15. I dunno why, but I can smell play doh when i look at that picture (Y) Phil.
  16. Where can I park???????? On a Saturday.I know a cheap underground place for sundays, but saturdays, is going to be rape. Phil.
  17. Well, ye, a small block of alu for the shell, a bit of steel inside, a little tube of slu for the axle, theres not exactly much material, it's just the workmanship that's gone into them and probably paying engineers in america too much, I still think it doesn't cost that much to make a king.
  18. urghhh, I feel that way, I should be there about 12 now. Phil.
  19. Ali, your bars must be too high, when you tap just before you actually tap and you lift up your front wheel, your body should be in the same position, leaning over the backwheel, arms straight, when you hit it, everythiong gets thrown forward, then straightened out once again, you lower your bars you can hit it lower and still have your weight over the front. phil.
  20. Was meant to be a load of people, but most of them have bailed out, so i think it'sjust me james porter and sam wheeler. So if anybody else is going, I think I will be about at 1 o clock ish, not sure whether anybody else will be around any earlier, just phone select bikes number if anybody is coming. Cheers. Phil.
  21. Asda's own, I know exactly what you mean. Phil.
  22. I don't think hope hubs are made from a very good material, chris kings are totaly different, and they don't slip if you look after them properly. But if this hub slips say once a week, does this make it a bad hub? It also seems to be strong enough to resist twisting, especially as it's just a downhill hub really, it's quite beefy. phil.
  23. I have can do 52" and 50"pretty consistently lately, Rossi has tapped 55" in Blackburn. Phil.
  24. This doesnt mean it's weak or going to slip, the hubs only as strong as the pawls and ratchet, and I think if the ratchet is good enough and the pawls are well made and out of a good material, you will never have a problem. phil.
  25. OI leave Mike alone, he's a sexy boy :P
