It certainly has its benefits, monitoring routes of criminals etc for example the train bombers. Yes its only useful after a crimes been comitted in this case but you cant always stop these things happening, and you cant exactly let them get away with it just because you didnt prevent it. Obviously acts as a deterrent to people as well but some of these people dont have the kind of mentality that woulld mean they were put off by CCTV. IIRC London also has the largest number of facial recognoition CCTV, which in terms of national security has a massive benefit. Also if you lose a vehicle full of suicide bombers you can put out an alert and find it pretty quick, otherwise youd be stuffed and forced to rely on man power, which is often inadequate.

It depends on your insurer too, Ok faster cars will always cost more, but if you actually have a decent car the chances are you'll look after it more than some old banger, and some insurance companies do recognise this.

Insurance isnt expensive though once youre experienced. Say youre a bit older and your premium is at a steady £350 for a modernish car, you rear end someone lightly and thats probably more than £350 already, total your car and the other persons car and thats a lot of money they have to pay out - and for £350 a year thats not exactly bad. And with a lot more people driving nice cars these days the chances of hitting a new merc/bimmer/audi are very high.

Ive got an Alpine iPod HU (the original one) and i still don't know how to work it, but i just set up and use my playlists anyway so all i do is skip to another track. I left my HU fascia at work the other day and the drive home was incredibly boring, i couldnt be without music, although if im on a more spirited drive ill turn it down to listen to whats going on. Not too fussed about the boot lid rattling, ear drum shattering installs though, they seem a bit pointless in most people cases. Anyway, back on topic. Keep it simple i'd say, dont waste time with loads of crap from halfords, its tempting at first as the more small things you buy the more progress it feels like youre making with your car, soon gets boring though, my advice would be to stick to the simple but effective things and do it properly, it will make a lot of difference. Bear in mind you drive your car on the inside, smarten the interior up a bit, maybe with some bits off other higher specced models etc (owners club forumms are great for things like this, unlike local cruise sites which have shedloads of chavs selling lexus lights and neons, which arent alot of use to 99% of people)

Average of a grand a year? Thats unlikely to happen unless you get a decent car or have a crap driving record. As for Fire and Theft only and whos at fault pays? What a crock of shit, Would you like somebodys medical bill after hitting them at 60mph? I wouldnt.

Was sitting here the other night listening to a few tunes and suddenly it cut to a load of hissy noise and has been the same ever since. Is running from the audio out to the aux in on my Hi-Fi. Any idea what on earths happened? I've tried every audio out on the PC and have the same problem, and its not the hifi as it plays my iPod through it ok, and CD's. The PC's only a month or two old (home build) so i cant see that anything would have given in just yet? Cheers for any help.

Fried egg roll, although with really hot oil so the egg goes nice and frilly! Tuna, onion, cheese, peppers mixed together and grilled on toast. Toast and Bovril Toasted processed chicken sarnies with loads of butter. Scotch egg sliced up and in a roll, with onion, mayo and cheese + black pepper. Even nicer when its warmed up! Mmmmmmm.

Why duplicate them in photoshop? Why not just print them a few times... And as i said the link was in an advert in the Express, i wasn't casually browsing the BK site!

No codes or barcodes, the more you spend the better i guess, but you cant use two at the same time.
