  1. Err, well it got stolen so why not tell her it got stolen? Or is that a really dumb idea You obviously put it down so you didnt fall off and smash it to pieces, and it unfortunately got nicked. Tell her what happened, and just forget about the bit where you wandered off and left it in plain view to get nicked, and learn from your stupid mistake. Bagsnatching stories always sound pathetic, so tell her straight, its not exactly the crime of the century. Edit: and the fact that you need to consult the internet for basic morals is pretty lame. God help you in the real world.

    Car Advice

First off, fronted insurance is bad, and should you crash theres a good chance you'll get found out as it's something theyre trying to crack down. I'd say go for a 1.8 astra mk4 or focus, both solid cars with few problems, cheap parts should you get anything wrong and not a backbreaker on insurance of running costs.

    Fujifilm S5700

Excellent camera, definitely get it. Few randoms from my PB account
  4. My dad rates his Belkin one pretty highly, so check those out.
  5. Some guy at works in the same situation and has no BT line, he mentioned that the 3 network do one where you dont need a phone line as its all dont via their network, i think its £50 for the modem then 10-20 quid for whatever package you choose.
  6. Assuming you can legally tow a trailer, check your license.
  7. You do, but im not sure if that includes temporary wooden structures.
  8. The BBC site repeats them doesn't it?
  9. A lot of astra turbo owners get problems with the AFM going because the oil in the aftermarket filter buggers up the sensor but while it happens to most people its not exactly frequent. Astras are great cars but i'd get something with less miles. Look on http://www.astraownersclub.com/vb for more info.
  10. I'd say no, people generally cycle to commute and do so in areas with lower speed limits, i do however think that if they don't protect their brain they should at least f**king use it once in a while and think about road traffic law as they carelessly ride through red lights etc. Putting more restrictions on cyclists will discourage people from using them which is the opposite of what the govt. are trying to do, although last time they did this (with mopeds) everyone went out and bought one to ride on their car license and promptly got knocked off and killed, the death toll on the roads for motorcyclists soared and the govt. suddenly changed their minds. They'll probably do the same with cyclists, or built a load of cycle networks, get everyone using them and suddenly start charging a maintenence tax. Anyway im totally OT now, the answer is no, but common sense should tell people to wear one. I would vote yes but at the end of the day peoples personal safety is down to themselves and forcing them to do this that and the other will only get the buearaucrat(sp?) morons rubbing their hands with glee.
  11. M&S apparently do pretty good insurance for personal posessions but i dont know if that would count.
  12. Sweet, he got any more dates?
  13. This happened ot my mate and he said that he didnt buy it all from one place as not all the parts are commonly available so they wrote a cheque to him for the value. DEfinitely contest it, its the same as car payouts, they hit you with a shit figure as most people accept it but they will go higher.
  14. Couldnt have said anything better myself, totally true that.
  15. I read through that bloody quickly considering the length of it. Not alot more to say, big thumbs up, i know i couldnt have done that.
  16. iPods are generally shit sound quality compared to other brands but the compatibility of the iPod is immense so you may aswell get one for simlicities sake and line apples pockets further.
  17. My mate had his newish bmx build nicked then the morons tried selling it to the shop where my mate got all the bits from, so theres still hope for them trying to flog it to a shop, and if youve been round the guys will probably recognise it, did you leave a pic with any of the shops?
  18. Ridiculous, as weird as it was he was still locked in his room, why does it matter if its a blow up doll or a metal tube?
  19. Ouch, bad lunck indeed but a confidence booster for next time no doubt.

    Banksy

You got a larger version of that first one Br3n?
  21. Why thell hell are you asking for advice if you've done nothing wrong? If you've done nothing wrong, then just tell them.
  22. Don't see whats so stupid to be honest, a cyclist can still cause an accident which could result in a death.
  23. Because implying someones a kiddly fiddler is so much worse than a murderer?
  24. I'm 99% sure thats what my boss drives, and it's a pile of crap, although not as bad as his last one or his TVR. At the moment im digging murcielago's, but a ferrari would do, astons are surprisngly common these days, as are porsches in some areas but it would be nice to have one that would put all the others to shame.
