hey!! my monty seat has a 45 degree system where the end of your seat tube is set to 45 degrees and a little thin on the end is the same and when you tighten the bolt in the seat tube it pulls the little bit up inside and grips to the seat tube. then the actual seat bit bolts to the seat post. (Y) hope you under stand this :"> http://images.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=h...3D%26safe%3Doff go to the monty foam seat and seatpost and its that design. (Y)

hey my dad owns a motorbike trials shop and we sell numerous models and from past experience id buy a 1996 beta or newer as in 1996 the trials market seemed to shoot up and the bikes improved a lot. also 1996 was the 1st year beta made the techno which was a new frame and engine etc. you can pick up 1996 betas for well under £1000 and a nearly new model of 1996 is only about £950 ish. id say go for 1996 or newer as the bikes improved the most from 1995 to 1996. hope this helps (Y)

i had this problem with a crank bolt and what had happened is the loktite has bunged up the hole or its cross threaded. as i say loctite bunged up the hole on my bb and the crank bolt wouldnt tighten. try using some de-greaser on a loth and a screw driver to scratch the loctite out of the bottom of the hole.

thanks mate, that does make sense but to me i could get another ball bearing in there without it cramping the others up. it has been running fine and it has came out of the factory like that so i guess ill just leave it :- thanks for your help mate  (Y)

when i get a new freewheel i always take the lockring off and locktite (sp?) it back on. this is my 1st acs freewheel i have done and it appears that 1 ball bearing is missing (Y) their is enough room to fit another one in but i didnt know if this is a acs freewheel thing that their is enough room for the bearings to move about. and before anyone asks no i didnt drop one as i just took of the lockring. :-

i`ve been out today and i can manuel a little now but seem to get it up and end up when it gets to the right height using the brake. for some reason when i get it up there my body goes rigid and i expect the bike and brake to do the work. i suppose i just need to relax more rather than tensing up. :)
