I managed to watch the last few mins of the England game at work on the TV's. Unfortunately I have a co worker who was asking stupid questions like "Why is the referee so bad?" and "Why do they keep missing the goal by like 20 feet?" and "It's gone past 95 mins why is the game still going?" And then at one point he started arguing with me that a free kick wasn't a free kick because it isn't within the penalty box.

Surprised there isn't a thread yet. Luckily I only work through the England match today, the rest of the England and USA games I can actually watch providing my proxy/vpn holds up! The Spain / Netherlands match was hilarious. It did make me realize how prevalent rolling around on the floor grabbing your shin is.

It won't be double better, it'll be 20 times better! It's good that it has at least 1 case fan to keep the air moving. This is why it's a good idea to build your own PC rather than having someone else build it for you, it's really easy to do and you learn a lot. I doubt you'd have made this mistake if you'd have built it yourself.

Wow that long? That's crazy. How come you even bought a computer with a graphics card if you went a year without even needing it? Does your case have any fans front side or rear?

Meh, I would have made the same mistake a couple of years ago. I'd right click on the desktop and goto screen resolution. Make sure your resolution is set to 1920 by 1080. If it is you're all set and good to go!

I doubt you have a monitor "bigger" than 1080. What is your monitor?

Yeah you aren't actually using your graphics card. It's sat there doing nothing. So basically you're using the motherboards graphics which are generally good enough for some facebook games but that's about it. Once you get HDMI cable into your actual graphics card you will not have any more issues.

Oh wow. You aren't even using your graphics card. You're using the motherboard's integrated graphics. Turn off your pc. Then do this... And then turn it back on. That will solve your problem 100%.

Well your motherboard is likely to have a HDMI, DVI and VGA port. Your Graphics care is also likely to have all 3. You can tell your graphics card ports from the motherboard ports easily, if you have a bunch of USB ports around that's the motherboard. A picture of the back of your pc would clear this up.

That doesn't make any sense to me at all. But I guess you could try downloading a free demo of a modern game and seeing if that works well? This may be a stupid question but you do have your monitor(s) plugged into the grahics card? Right and not the motherboard?

For your cpu load, just hit ctrl+alt+del and goto start task manager. CPU useage will be in the bottom. If it's more than 20% when your pc is idle something's wrong.

You aren't rendering videos while trying to play games correct? If not check your CPU load before you try to play games and see what it is.
