continue using the tar then. why learn things properly when you can coat it with tar? i used to think like you did. but i got over it. i get horrible brake slip sometimes, but i have learnt to blame my technique (or lack of) instead of the brake. 'cos im sure that if i land far back and brake holds, my tyre will slip off, and i'll end up breaking the wall in two anyway. the closest to the hold of tar ive come without was plaz fjas and a fresh ground dx32, as heard in my video karnon released a while back. i use plaz crm pads now, with the same grind. works OK. just hold with your pedal and your brake seems to work a million times better.

i imagine a powdercoated rim giving similar braking to a regular sprayed rim = shit. when it gets wet = die.

my brake slips when i land too far back too. just land further up. you'll never get the same hold with grind as tar.

they're very good frames. prett short. light, a bit flexy. they're hard to come by, especially in good condition.. it's very hard to find one that isn't cracked and rewelded, and if you buy one, you'll probably be third or fourth owner of it.

odi ruffian > * foam works fine but rip too easily. velo/viz/koxx/tryall/monty/whatever grips are not comfortable in my eyes (or hands) and i've seen a pair wear down super fast.

I'm as lucky as Peter. I have never seen a school uniform in real life, ever. Only on televizzle and stuff. The thing is, that the 'preppy' style fashion is getting more and more popular here, and people go out and buy fake school uniforms (with made up names on badges, etc) and wear them, thinking they're the shit. Strange what happens when you're free to wear whatever. At my school it is quite separated. People wear what they want, and you can clearly see who is what, and who to stay well away from. If our teachers want us to stfu, they tell us so. I've never heard -that- much about discipline in neither school nor college here. Our school system works pretty well I think, and I'd be very surprised to see school uniforms in public schools and colleges here, only in the very posh private schools.

if the fly and train were indestructable and the fly travelled at a very high speed and collided head-on, yes. but in reality, not really.

guitarpro and powertabs aint bad either. google both and you'll find, they play the tabs with MIDI synthesizer and scrolls tabs automatically and shizzle.

don't watch someone putting in lenses, or try some yourself. it feels bloody odd the first times! i thought it was kinda scary before, but since i got my contacts, it is fine! it isnt as worrying after youve poked yerself in the eye a couple of times :P :D

biggest problem is that people care.

the only bad thing about the heat is not being able to ride for a few hours without bringing water and stuff along. riding locally for 1-2 hours with no bag is convenient, but in this heat, it's not doable. been waiting for the summer for a long time now, we've had crap weather in Sweden most of the spring. roll on NASS!

its kind hard to explain. i move my hand/wrist in a whisking style motion, which gets the speed up, then it's just about finding a nice pattern in which you twist and turn it in the direction of most resistance, leading to a higher speed on the ball.. you have to try it to understand. i cannae do the motion without the ball spinning either.
