    Twitches

eye twitches and contacts suck so bad it's unbelievable. once you twitch, you'll do it again, next time you try get the contact in the eye. third time you keep your eye still, but the smallest dust particle sits on the contact, causing a stinging, cutting sensation on the eye, so you need to take the damn contact out again. MEH.

    Bikes

i agree with the bmxes generally look good part. they do! i bought a complete bike about 14 months ago, with parts of all colours and materials. black, orange, silver, grey, polished, blue, red and yellow, alu, steel and carbon fibre. 14 months later, ALL parts have been replaced. I've only replaced things which have broken or have needed replacement. my bike is basically black and silver, with some gold. i replaced the old/broken parts with stuff i knew would work well, and some wild cards. all of the wild cards have been replaced, as they broke eventually, and quicker than the other parts. one of the cheapest parts on my bike is the rear hub. a 15 quid welded deore. the axle is bent, and it doesn't spin very well. but i don't notice it when riding, so it's fine. i run a hope xc hub on front, and a 10 quid THN headset, which has worked flawlessly for 10 months. my bike is worth a fair bit, and is specced with mostly "TF-safe" parts... they work though, and the bike looks pretty.

  12. ltd edition pads, might be prototypes, im not sure. not avaliable atm.
  13. Onza Smartguy. The Echo Urban forks have a design flaw, so after a while the steerer starts creaking loudly, which is pretty damn annoying and worrying. At least that's what mine did, and I've heard plenty of Echo forks creaking badly. The Onza Smartguy forks are stiffer than the Echo forks, and have a one-piece steerer instead of the two-piece pressed/welded Echo steerer. They're a bit heavier, but seem much more solid. I've ridden my Onza forks for a month or two now, and am really happy about them so far.
  14. i call the move which you pedal into it a coust hop.. mainly cos i saw the cousts doing them over and over in vids. i am aware of that people did it back in '94 aswell, but i relate the move to the cousts.... meh.
