  1. yeah they would have been running, and yeah it was raining, so no racing. Was really annoying cos it was perfectly dry when we set off!!
  2. alright, i live very close to darlington, but never ridden there! are there quite a few riders? Andrew
  3. Just been offered a ride down to Santa Pod tomorrow "The Main event" - top fuel drag racing, is anyone from the forum going? Can't wait! Andrew
  4. ive got try-all cranks and monty freewheel for sale, both only been ridden a handful of times
  5. er, no, YOU'RE wrong! it doesnt matter whether the freewheel is on the front or the rear, its still a clockwise turning moment that is applied to the freewheel, therefore it tightens up. Make sure your facts are correct before you post please. Andrew
  6. yeah, if it failed, it would just pull the steel insert out, but as the name suggests, its a coil, so when the bolt screws in it exerts a force against the sides of the hole, holding it in tight
  7. ive got a nearly new monty freewheel for sale if you need one, £30 posted, bargain, its like new!!
  8. think i'd be scared of doing anything difficult on it, for fear of breaking it!
  9. most beaver-like member: Tim Stedman (Malvern-rider)
  10. I'm not allowed my bike in my room, but thats where its kept. Just make sure you sweet talk your cleaner if you have one, then they wont dob you in for anything!
  11. Think i've possibly got the nicest car
  12. If thats true with a lot of Deng's bolts thats shocking! We should all boycott Deng if hes making/using substandard parts!
  13. you'll be back riding sometime, i know it. You'll see someone doing it in the street one day and wonder why you ever gave up.

Awesome vid max! great watch, you just make it look too damn easy! Andrew
  15. Awesome vid Jonny!! looked like such an amazing ride. Will definitely have to be there next year! Andrew
  16. yeah steve! front to back moves are ace! u do them brakeless? hope to ride in the summer! Andrew
  17. sorry, had to stop watching that, theres just far too much slow motion, its an oldskool street vid and that doesnt do the rider any justice. It need to be flowing and in time with the music. Hope it can be re-edited without all the slow mo. Andrew
  18. get the grinder out....
  19. no, he was telling me about that this morning (bout 9 o'clock!! i know! whats going on Boats??), but no, we never saw it, will check it out next time! Andrew
  20. it may be pulling up, draw a line with a permanent marker round the star nut on the inside of the steerer, then next time it comes loose, you can see if it has moved. if it is knackered, you could just bash it down and put a new one in, or get a long rod and knock it out the top through the hole where the steerer joins the crown. Andrew EDIT, or it could be what Netherking said...
  21. They're the brazes, if you see it up close you'll see the quality of Clive's brazing skills!
  22. Sweet vid Rich, really liked the song, was thinking of using it in one of my vids! Anyway, good riding, nice to see some proper natural stuff for a change! Andrew
  23. Its about 5 miles from Loughborough on the way to Nottingham
