    Just A Quicky

oh, should have said, I left the frame at tartybikes and am finnishing building it tomorrow, hence why I cant just go and measure it now
  6. full bike minsu brakes, tyres, chain and grips weighed 7kg, with adding on the estimated weights of the other parts it comes to 11kg (or somwhere like that) which is just over 24lbs, but thats my basher wheel with echo rim and heavier hub and non ti pedal axles, I am hoping to get it under 24lbs if poss.

    Just A Quicky

thats almost the info I need, but I am just after the sizes for the square around one bolt, I can work out one measurment with that info (well, clever mum can) but I need the width as well. martyn said no pics till tomorrow, so you'll have to wait I'm afraid!

    Just A Quicky

oh, forgot to mention, I am in a REAL rush, got a photoshoot on friday and my bike needs these adaptors to be ridable (might have to put a maggie on otherwise!!!!
  9. Hey folks Got my new ashton today and its awesome. I am making some brake adaptors as I kinda squiched my current ones in a vaice (dam soft alloy!) I could do with someone with an ashton to measure one of the 4 bolt stubs for me, I need the legths of the edges of the square and depth till it hits the bit going to the other mount (I hope thats clear) many thanks Al
  10. been riding for 8 years now, I consider myself a tad oldschool, but not much.

    Vaseline

in emergancies, butter, lard, margarine or just fat could be used.......I dont know what vasaline is made from so I cant reccomend it. Obviously proper grease is 100x better than anything I mentioned.
  13. no higher than 20mm, thats my rule. 365 chainstays will give almost the same charactistics as a high bb, the bike will be too rear wheel biast, it will take away from the overall ride of the bike and make it one big pogostick. I even think 375 chainstays on controls are too short!!
  14. I always end up saying bad things, everyone must think I am a right grumpy b*****d! Anyway, its got possibly the worst geo ever made with the purpose of trials in mind. 1100 wheelbase AND a 365 rear end? it it meant for gorrillas to ride? I know my arms arnt that long arnt they a high bb too? like over 30mm? most exspensive pogostick ever? sorry...I need to go find some topics I can post some happy replies too now!
  15. modyfied my vee adaptors today, ground down the back so it sits closer to the frame, drilled the bolts a little and got some titanium posts for it, also made some carbon caps for my ultimate arms.
  16. done it before, not a very high rail though, just a grind one at a skate park. Might get a clip sometime.
  17. as cheap as the trade price is...around £350ish I think, thanks for the offer but I fancy a new bike really
  18. rather you have it than me, sorry
  19. you mean you have never had a stock?? unlucky!
  20. the 203 avid caliper and disk is heavier than a whole mono trial 180 brake!
  21. sorry dude, dont like your bike, well the frame at least. I am going to get a pheonix for cheap and just change things when they wear out
  22. both rounds count to overall results. Shame there's not more, although I am only doing one no matter how many rounds there are.
  23. cant diss hebden, after 8 years of riding it theres still new stuff. Would rather go and ride rock of course, but as street goes hebden is fine.
