Natural Ride On Dartmoor, Devon
Rich Pearson replied to Matt_Tupman's topic in Member Organised Rides
Sweet, might shove WhiteBoy or CA in your car, whichever is annoying me least :P , and its staying light enough to ride until at least 9:30 now. One small problem, I think I've just blown out my ankle again and almost can't walk. But it'll figure itself out. Rich -

At the moment looks like I may have Mr. Wheeler staying for the weekend, so if he is we'll both be coming down. See you there Rich -
So whens the next one going up? Or is it already up and I just can't find it? Rich

Ask Jonny Jones and Jon Chubb, they did most of the filming. Rich

A few broken bones? Have look at that gap again will you? For one, theres a wal runing down the middle of it at the bottom to nicely snap your spinal cord when your fall... :P" Just thought I'd be nice and cheery. Sweet vid though, looks as though the hands got better. Rich

Give me a few weeks... (Y) Rich -
He does on his stock. Front tapping is more for stocks really, but Alex (Ashton_Rider in new members) has got them pretty well dialled on his 20" levelboss. Rich

Check out SWTCVolII for the footage Ross got from the party (Jon Shrewsbury going nuts ripping a fridge to bits with his bare hands/Chai passed out/ Matt Staples trying to sidehop a car whilst drunk [check out the for sale section where that same car is now being flogged by Lee McCaw], and much more). All I really remember was standing ontop of Jons Garage with the other Jon (shrewsbury), trying to persuade him it would be a good idea to drop off it... Was a savage ride and and awesome party, props to jon for getting it all together. **ready to do it all again next year** Rich -

+ Bike_rider, ashton_rider, and tom1989. Could someone just put up like little summery of where and when people are meeting? Cheers Rich -
Well, neither me, Ross or Alex have ever made a video featuring an Orage Zero or with Prodigy music, so it aint us, nor can I think of who it might be. But go to trials-shack and eengoedidee, search for SWTC and have a look through our vids; you might have been mistaken about the song and bike, although you're probably not. But go download them anyway... :S Sorry we couldn't be more help. Rich

I can just see the worried look on Matt B's face now... :S Sweet vid steve, keep 'em coming. Rich

this is your lot: I've done about 15 minutes of it so far, with about another 8 to be done. the vid will include; street sessions by us in Taunton and bristol, Rich Pearsons Natural riding/comp training/rehabilitation, footage from Chris Doneys free for all fun weekend, footage from the bikeshow, plus lots of random stacks and tom being weird. Estimated date for release: Mid June, but don't hold me to that. Glad you all liked the trailer, we're working as fast as we can. Rich

You know, for fifty quid a flight (I'm assuiming its one way for 50quid), you might have me interested. I'm already making one trip to france this summer but can't take my bike. This sounds like a plan. We'll speak at the next hampshire comp nick, or whenever we next bump into each other. Rich

I'm not actually riding in it, but I'm the guy in the guns 'n' roses shirt, talking to terry graves at the start of the funeral vid, and me and james porter are the kids going "Yeah! YEAH!" on the right when Craig's doing his stupidly huge sidehops. My little claim to fame... Hope to see you all at the weekend. Rich

Is it actually Neil Tunnicliffe in the vids, I'm just failing to see any similarities. Sweet vids though, and thats the harshest chainsnapping I've ever seen. Rich

HOLY MOTHER OF CRAP!! I beat Steve?! I came third?! :P **culture shock sets in** Rich

You have no idea... :P It's still not entirely easy to walk properly (as if I had enough to worry about with my ankles...). Managed all this, plus training at ham hill on saturday (sunburn which still hasn't gone away...), a pass plus test, and getting riotously drunk with Bryan (dad). This weekend officially killed me. The comp was pretty damn good I thought, with our group having some amazing comical and vicious stacks (Steve almost faceplanting a cowpat, me jacking my back up on a rock, Dan actually wedging his foot into a gap in two rocks, Nick messing up a very, very stupid gap, and Rob's "I'm in trouble," is still hilarious [just imagine it with a Hans Rey accent and Rob literally wrapping himself over a low tree branch :o .]) All in all I really enjoyed it, even when it was pissing it down, but when the sun came out it was fantastic. I really liked the observers going round with us in small groups because we all learnt to help each other and work almost like a team. Oh and I met actiondan as well, a truly savage guy, although the most ready memory of him was his face appearing and saying "Breathe man, just breathe," about two seconds after I was convinced I'd just paralysed myself; One second I'm going for a gap, then next I'm staring at the sky and it feels like someones set my spinal cord on fire... See you all next time. B) Rich

Sorry to be kind of annoying, but it looks pretty damn similar to the 05 monty stock frames (new X-lite I think). the bb rise, weird plate type dropouts, curved tubing. Does look utterly beautiul though. Rich
