  1. A drug dealer will though. That's where your stuff is now, 99% guaranteed.
  2. Did you actually see the guy take it? What were the exact circumstances? Like I said in the other thread, unlucky.

    Which Dropout?

Or only one if you've got an HD axle. (albeit an imperial one)

    Which Dropout?

You can't be seriously making that claim after all the ones that have broken in the (comparitively) short time they've been out relative to Kings. Kings are easier to service imo, nothing flys out like a Hope's pawls and springs.

    Which Dropout?

Kings are better. Pro 2s are cheaper. Make your choice, don't start yet another arguement on here...

    Stolen

From what I've learned recently about bike theft in the country at the moment, it'll be with a drug dealer's gang being stripped down and "mixed up" with other bikes. Very little chance of ever seeing it in your town again. If you're lucky it'll turn up somewhere else and someone'll recognise it and know it's stolen. If that's hard for you to accept try doing it when you've lost a £2500 Kona
  7. If you have to replace the catalytic converter quite alot. Could be salvagable though, best bet is ring a garage and get a quote. Ring round and look for the best price.
  8. As mentioned above many carbon tubes have an aluminium core or at least an endoskeleton. Carbon is incredibly stiff in the direction of it's weave but it also has very good shock absorbing qualities which may be where you got the flexing thing from? Cos I'm pretty sure "meant to flex" couldn't be farther from the truth (don't bite my head off if I'm wrong). The carbon on the bars is not "just for looks" either... It's proper carbon fibre and adds alot of strength (certainly more than a piece of paper )without the weight penalty. YES.
  9. Think that was Kyle Hinchcliffe and they were proper fooked.
  10. R.I.P. Iain Wright. Thoughts go out to his family and friends who must be under a huge amount of shock at the moment.

    Unique Bikes

Their site in general is full of dodgy English. Think it's spelt trilas on one page. Nice.
  12. Lucky b*****d. I couldn't leave my Kona out for 30 seconds... My bike/s(when I get another again) are kept in a shed on the side of the house with a proper door and lock and chained to a floor anchor. Since having another bike stolen me and my dad have talked about an alarm system to go in there too as some c**ts must know I have nice bikes and we're worried they might step it up from taking advantage of brief stupidity.
  13. HAHAhAHAHAHAhA! That's so good... Blind kid is definitely a human/dolphin love child.
  14. Nope incorrect. (with the mathsy bit) BEDMAS Brackets Exponents Division and Multiplication Addition and Subtraction Only the bottom ones right (1+2x3=7) because you do the multiplication before the addition. For the top one to be right it would have to be: (1+2)x3=9
  15. OH MY GOD. Yes thankyou Ewannnnnnn.
  16. Looks more like 56" to me. And 165cm is 65"
  17. Why don't we find one and ask them? I reckon visualise is the exact word to use. How do you think blind people remember their way around places? It's certainly not through smell or sound! (and before some smartass says touch, blind people are perfectly capable of woalking through their houses without touching much at all) EDIT: Quick google: Caption: In one of Kennedy’s early studies a woman, blind from birth, drew this picture of a horse.
  18. You've used volume (cm3) instead of mass (kg) but you'v pretty much got the essence of it. As many other people have already said, then answer is no.
  19. Is that a big dent just down from the crack/gusset? Unlucky anyhow.
  20. Not really very fair? Noone should have to lock their bike up, especially when it's on private land. Sorry to hear about your loss, I've recently had my Coiler nicked so I know how it feels. Is the pub doing anything about it?
