I did it on mine, but it's way more complicated than just turning them upside down (this puts the brake pads too high on the braking surface, so they rub against the tyre). I used the really old evo mounts, without the splined elbows as they are slightly longer, and basically drilled/sawed them down so they would fit into the lugs, and so there would be enough clearance between the corner of the Evo mount and the chain.
