  1. Well I've now taxed and insured that Astra SRI CDTI I bought about 5 months ago, drove it for the first time and it actually seems a decent enough little car for £600
  2. Those sidelights look way too sparkly...
  3. That is probably your problem then Get the stick welder out, it'll be fine
  4. Ha, I wish that was the reason!
  5. I may be able to do any day after all... potentially handing in my notice soon
  6. Pfft even my 30 year old porsche has headlight washers, badass
  7. I can only come if the weekday is during my half term, can't take days off unfortunately
  8. Exhaust manifold gaskets have been done, intake manifold hasn't been touched but there is no change in RPM when spraying carb cleaner around any joints in the intake system. Mixture was checked not long after I did the swap and was spot on apparently
  9. In all fairness to dan, non matching HIDs are actually noticeable when driving and its off putting.
  10. Fuel pump is a few months old and gets to the correct pressure on the gauge, in tank pump is working too. Bugging you? It's more annoying for me... currently emailing companies to have the warm up regulator rebuilt, seems that fudges everything up if it's not right. Cheers for your help so far though, more useful than people in the owners club...
  11. Yup moves perfectly, already swapped it with a spare just to be sure. No vac leaks detected, most boots and hoses are new/been swapped with good spares with no difference made
  12. Injectors made no difference
  13. Injectors arrived cars soaked inside as it hasn't been under the car port so it's currently got a fan heater inside to dry it out :$ fingers crossed they solve some issues...or at least help
  14. Really? I swear it was you that recommended it a while back!
  15. You might be lucky, if not get in contact with a proper paint place, they can scan your old spoiler and give you an exact match
  16. Hopefully it actually matches... none of the stuff I have had done by them has been even close
  17. Yeah I can see where you may be coming from... perhaps buying a new clutch might be a good idea
  18. Could try and go directly to the manufacturer? Also remember people hardly leave positive feedback, just negative so it may not totally reflect them (remember some people are mongs ) and they may be alright
  19. Borrow/buy an EZ bleed, it'll take a few mins and away you go did you spray any WD40 style stuff on the bleed nipples before you left?
  20. That is nothing special for the price and the 2.5 would get boring unless you aren't after anything quick
  21. Found a dirty great big screw through my rear tyre yesterday, not in a repairable area either Fortunately I have some new spares but this still had 6mm left.
  22. It does do very short journeys, spends mucho time in traffic too. I'll go for a spirited drive later
  23. To be honest I don't know, I only noticed as I took it for an MOT and thought it was strange the condensation hadn't finished migrating out of the exhuast. I rarely ever drive the car, my girlfriend uses it mostly.
