Just been talking to my mate and he suggested using the aerial output from the ntl box and gettin a tv card - then i can switch channels from the PC. Sounds good to me . Anyone wanna recommend a good tv card and do they need a decent gfx card or anything? ive got a pretty average 1.6ghz with geforce 2 mx

Do TV cards allow you to watch TV in a window, while doing other things? Or does it take the whole monitor? And are they good quality? (usually)

I'm thinking of buying a 19" widescreen TFT monitor for my PC so i want to watch TV on it. I've got ntl digital with scart so i need this to be able to plug into my monitor. So basically, whats the best way to do this? I've been looking around and found VGA boxes - around £30 on ebay from hong kong. like this one: http://shop.gameplay.co.uk/webstore/produc...gic_3_vga_box_+ But i havent managed to find any with scart inputs...and my ntl cable is fixed (it hasnt got 3 wires going into a scart, its all fixed together). Maybe i could just use a different scart cable like the ones on Xboxes with the 3 wires and then connect to a VGA box. Anyway...do TV cards also have these inputs, with the output coming from the monitor? How much are they? Can anyone recommend one? I'm looking to get the best value possible. Cheers

Wait a min...i just took it off with an 8mm allen key in the main bit...am i supposed to tighten this right up in the fork, before putting the bolt in? I just put the bolt in right away and tightened... brb ill go try

Got a head doctor this morning and i cant figure out why its not working...ive put it in my fork and tighetned it up a treat, the bolt goes stiff but my headset doesnt tighten at all, still really wobbly. Also now the main bit of it is stuck in my fork, how do i get it out to put a star nut back in, if needed? Oh and im running fatty forks, and a echo control stem.

Same usually read a magazine though. i find it hard to sleep if i dont read for about 10 mins, unless im properly knackered

I need to find out how to block access to a website on this computer...ive done it before and i know theres a windows text file but i cant remember exactly where it is, or what the files called. Nope nothing like that, just blank screen and then the line comes up. I pressed alt ctrl del and managed to get onto the bios seems to be working now, cheers guys!

Nothing happens before the flashing line comes up, sounds like the CD drive starts to read the CD. Doesnt show any text or anything like that. How do i get to the boot order? Cheers Noz.

My brother just bought a PC off ebay, and when he starts it up a little white DOS line just flashes in the top left of the screen. He's tried booting from a windows xp disc. When he bought it was fully formatted and everything... is it just that he needs to install the mobo drivers or something? Cheerios.
