Alright guys, just seeing if any of you have got any opinions on which university to go to. I'm going for an engineering degree with foundation year (i dont have maths a level). At the moment i have 3 offers - Loughborough, Birmingham and Manchester. I've also applied to Brunel London and Cardiff. Do any of you go to any of those unis? Im particularly interested in loughborough and birmingham. Manchesters a bit far and brunel is expensive so im not sure on those. Just let me know what you think of the city, sports facilities (i know lough is rlly good for that sort of thing) and generally the people there. I'm gonna visit most of them but give me some opinions if possible! Also if anyone else is goin to uni next year what are you studying and where? Cheers Nozman
Alright guys, bought a set of profile mini cassette hubs from the USA and the rear has a 16t cog but is detachable from the driver. can you simply get a 12t cog to fit on the driver, or do you need a new driver? Cheers. Noz.
You have to get a job/education to move anywhere... they are trying to encourage migrants though, i remember a scheme where they were offering free flights to australia for graduates with good degrees so they can live there
Hehehe we got caught by an unmarked for squirting old people out the window with a water pistol didnt get fined, the policeman was talking to my mates dad with the pink water pistol in his hand afterwards, waving it about, funny as
Pics: Is that a king cog? ^ I thought it was at first but its really thin and doesnt say king on it. Think its use-able if i move the cog to another place? Or should i buy a new driver
Damn, just took all the cogs off to find some pretty huge notches on the drive. Think its still use-able? I could move the cog to another place where there are no notches with the King spacer kit, my drivetrain might be slightly out of line though... ill get some pics in a sec.
Cheers for the help guys, im just gonna buy the CK kit i think. At the mo ive got a 19t king cog and using other cogs and stuff as spacers. What tool do i need to get the lockring off? Theyre usually like nuts arent they? Cheers.
I want to get some spacers for my king hub and an 18t cog. Found the single speed kit for £44, but the cog alone is only £23 so thats £20 for some spacers and a lockring. Are there any other brands of spacers out there that are quite thin so i can move the cog to line up the drive? And, what tool do you need to tighten/loosen the lockring? Cheers
loctite its easy and it takes 2 minutes. Also means you can service the freewheel again whereas with welding you cant. Just make sure you clean both threads before applying threadlock.

I had the same problem and ended up stripping the lockring when it came loose. This didnt strip the threads in the driver as they are stronger so i bought a new lockring, and threadlocked it in place, doing it up quite tight. Worked a charm
Buy one second hand, best way. Then rebleed it with water and your sorted out. Its not hard to work out what you need...2 slave cylinders, a master cylinder, a brake lever, and some hose. The adjuster doesnt really matter, you can improvise.
While on the subject of computers, i want more ram in mine, i only have 384mb at the moment. I bought this pc off a mate and he says it has SDRAM. Is this the same as DDR SDRAM? Thanks
Cheers for the advice Just recieved an email from amazon - my payment has been cancelled due to the user being unable to accept payment or something. oh well, guessi ll have to buy it at full price
