  1. That sounds feasible - one of the reasons I'm not keen to drive there any time soon
  2. Jesus, nasty Brake failure?
  3. http://www.mx5nutz.com/forum/index.php?showforum=51 http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/Cars-/9801/i.html?Transmission=Manual&_sop=2&_dmpt=Automobiles_UK&_nkw=eunos&rt=nc&LH_Auction=1 Make sure you get the Eunos one (Jap import)
  4. You certainly do - in fact you can make money doing it. Buy an old MX-5, as long as it has tax and MOT that's all you need (£4-500 if you find someone who needs to sell quickly). You can make a couple of hundred quid when you sell it on, which will pay for your fuel and 'entry' for the day. Know of someone who has done this twice and made money both times!
  5. And video... (Sorry about the random camera angle half way through! Forgot to shrink the clip, some was filmed in 1080 and some in 720...)
  6. Yeah they wet the track, was sunny all day!
  7. Yeah it's not easy - but very satisfying when you get it I think the most 'links' I managed was about 4 or 5... some guys were doing the whole damn track! Was a quality day cheers
  8. A few pics from our work day out... Me driving, Cap as passenger: Cap driving, Stan passenger: Stan driving, Claire as passenger: How not to do it (we all did this plenty of times, haha): Very nearly how not to do it! (Cap driving) Lots of filthy BMWs were there... And I have to drive this to work on Monday - cheers Cap!
  9. Snetterton? Keen to see what lap times you are doing!
  10. Yeah, that's been in place from the start
  11. It was actually a very nice little town Nick - no
  12. Sweeping statement right there I recently bought a car from Taunton!
  13. Nice one dude! A bit of comedy never goes amiss
  14. We know that is a limitation, and it's something we've been trying to work a way around since the reviews section started... As JD says though, gotta prioritise
  15. The system is deliberately only set up so you can rate something if you have actually purchased it from us. Yes, it reduces the number of reviews, but it greatly increases their reliability. I see far too many 5 star reviews on other sites that are something along the lines of 'I bort dis 2day nd shud be ere soon cnt w8 my m8s gt 1 n i luv it!' - we wanted to avoid that!
  16. I think my Google machine is broke...
  17. Yep, it's working fine - the dial tone sounds a bit like engaged tone though. Apparently we can't change it, but I think it's just BT being awkward! I think I just took your order though...? Cheers, Adam
  18. ^^ That's clever! Other way is get a bit of pipe, slice it into quarters lengthways, then bend them out a bit: http://images.esellerpro.com/2375/I/438/02/ice_tool_rocket.jpg
  19. Let's hope it's not a shed then
  20. Ah sweet - red car's fairly local to you? Not into the seats and style bar on the black one, but if the base is solid...
  21. Withdrawn from sale on Tuesday That looks about the right sort of thing though, and you defo wanna buy private rather than a dealer IMO. Been on mx5nutz?
  22. I thought the oil pressure looked a bit low on that pic... Still, the top ends are usually pretty tappety, an oil change (decent synth 0w-40) and an Italian tune up usually sorts that
  23. Looks pretty good! Only thing to check is the sills and arches really, as you know. If it's come over to the UK fairly late on, that's a bonus. If it drives fine, it will be fine. If the air con is bust or the power steering whines/leaks, then that's a bonus, as you should be ripping that out anyway and it will give you more bartering power
