  1. No worries! Is that the EXACT hub you have or is it the one with a 12mm steel axle? If it's the exact one in the photo it's 6802, if it's the 12mm axle version then it's a different bearing, 6903 I *think* from memory but not 100% sure... (And can't check cos we sold out of that hub a long time ago, sorry!)
  2. It depends which bearing you are trying to replace, the impression we were given was that you are trying to replace a freehub body bearings? If so, they are 6802. Maybe stick a photo up so we can see what you are trying to do exactly? Cheers, Adam

Sweet stuff! What lenses are you using Andy?
  4. Good stuff - get one as long as you can, we usually use 268s...
  5. Washer between end of your axle and inside of dropout = room for tensioner. Hooky thing... Also works on vertical dropouts
  6. You can just make a |_| shape at the end of the tensioner and hook it around your dropout slot Was thinking that... eek! Hopefully be ok though...
  7. Welcome back Oli! 24" forks have the same geo as 26" ones, just the brake mounts are moved down Ads
  8. +1. I9s could be the next best thing, the design looks good and it should work if the materials and tolerances are decent, but they aren't tested for trials yet! There also appears to be no bearing underneath the pawl mechanism, which is there the old XC, Mono and BULB hubs fell down... Are they available with a steel freehub body and a bolt up (not bolt through) axle? Edit: Found this on Facebook, 8 months of DH use (ie. not hard on drivetrain), bottom spring appears to be a bit dead which is weird? http://is.pinkbike.com//photo/1796/pbpic1796053.jpg
  9. Super Tacky or Maxxpro? If Maxxpro, I'd hazard a guess at the place you just got some from, hehe. If Super Tacky, I know of a shop
  10. If they say Maxxpro, they'll be the Maxxpro ones, not Super Tacky.

  12. It doesn't - the end of the spoke is bent up:
  13. A custom 'boss' I made. You can wrap it around the axle too, but you may run into the same problem I described above - not enough room.
  14. Cheers man! Ahh just give it a bosh, it's not that daunting surprisingly, just have a mess about on some kerbs and you'll get a feel for it quite quickly.
  15. There's three considerations with a mod: - Will the brake mounts still line up - Will there be enough chain wrap around the rear sprocket for it not to skip - Is there is enough space to fit the tensioner in... My gut feeling would be maybe, no, and no... but could be worth a try! The other reason I have one is that it takes any slack out of the chain if the threads on your cranks aren't perfectly concentric, plus when you preload to kick the chain doesn't go all flappy.
  16. Yeah that's the one, can't really see a reason why it'd die (especially as it's the needle bearing version of the hub), but we'll see Tensioner is a spoke, see photo 6.
  17. Had a couple of brakeless rides on our shop Inspired, then buggered my ankle... but still gonna give brakeless a try. It's refreshing to have to learn all over again after having been riding for so long! Contrary to popular belief, having a brakeless bike is COMPLETELY different to just death-gripping a brake-d bike. Anyone who's been riding a long time and are getting a bit bored of 'normal' trials - I recommend you try this, I'm confident you'll find it very good fun and be surprised at how fast the learning curve is. Anyway, photos... The latest incarnation of the Spoke Tensionerâ„¢ and Pro2 hub modified to 96 engagements. Not had a measure or a ride yet, but geo is around +25, 375, 1050 (would like some Inspired forks to shrink that a bit I think). Bars *look* high but they are actually lower than Stan's Echo as the head tube is quite short. Cheers Adam

... over the bars face first when they snap Very cool video!
  19. Has ANYBODY you know (who is actually a reasonably high level trials rider) ever run one on a trials bike?
  20. The hole required for HS33 caliper 'pips' is too small for a strong enough V brake boss unfortunately.
  21. Had it in a box upstairs for about... 3 or 4 years. Think I killed it though, but spoke to JJ Gregorowicz and he's still running one! So gonna get it fixed...
  22. Note that the weight isn't listed...
  23. Got to the bottom of the problem now New chain + old cassette. Thanks for your help Tom! Adam
