  1. Right... after muchos fiddling... Those who were failing before - please try again! http://www.tartybikes.co.uk Cheers, Adam
  2. Sorted, cheers. Easy to get muddled when copying and pasting at 2 a.m. :)
  3. Bash the lot in a freezer. Boil kettle. Pour a tiny bit of boiling water on the sprocket, to heat it (and only it) up. Get some blocks of wood, clamp the sprocket as hard as you can in a nicely fixed down vice. Bash the end of the crank arm - the 'shock' will help to release it. Release agent, like Plusgas, may help. Good luck!
  4. Thats cos theres 2 versions :) And theyre a high-end item, so we thought they deserved their own section.
  5. Check my first post Mike :S Or try this. Cheers, Adam
  6. I personally think its genius. Holes = stress risers. No holes = stronger rim! Its a concept thats been around for years on road and XC wheelsets. Its 50g lighter than the old (15mm holes) Echo rims too. I think the looks are relatively 'marmite', haha, I like them personally :) For those who dont like them, theres still plenty of 'normal' drilled rims about to choose from :S
  7. Thing is, that means it still works for someone using a lower resolution. Looks like we'll be buying some proper hosting asap :S Cheers guys.
  8. I do, I've only built one so far though - it was pretty nice to build. Quality is decent. The rim I built has been on my mates bike for a couple of months now, the grind is still good, and his brake works great. Definitely a harder material than the Koxx 47mm rims :) Hope thats of some use Stephen :S
  9. Yep, thats the next step! It'll be changed over when we get online ordering sorted :S As for plans to stock Monty and Koxx, it's not something we have ruled out entirely as yet. Nic - glad you can see it now, still need to work out what was wrong though! Cheers for the comments guys :) Adam & Dave @ TartyBikes
  10. Well, firstly, theyre not holes - its a CNC machined scoop, which may by why it looks 'weird' to you :S The scoops are cut from the middle section of the rim, which is raised... and are this shape: (Rim pictured is a 19" rear rim) Hope that helps, Cheers, Adam
  11. Well, i can do closer if you like? What exactly do you wanna see? Cheers
  12. Yep, thats right Mr. Edd, theyre tight as a badger! Can also be done using a bench vice and 3-4 people - put the allen key in the vice, slot the wheel onto it, and use the rim for leverage.
  13. Unfortunately not, theyre only made in 32 hole.
  14. I think they're about as close-up as youre gonna get to be honest!
  15. With a compatible frame, like Mike suggested :S
  16. Cheers dude :) Edit: I see now... cheers :)
  17. After many hours of typing and editing pics... our new website is finally up and running! Make sure you check out the exciting new Hope Trial Brake and Hope CNC Stems! Feel free to have a look around, comments and suggestions are welcome :S Yet another overhaul is due within the next couple of months, to include full online ordering facilities... so it's all go! Cheers for your time, Adam & Dave @ TartyBikes
  18. As far as i know, ALL of these frames are very different to catalogue frame. The 'middle bracket'... im not sure. Id guess at about 6mm, since it'll probably have been cleaned up from 1/4" (6.35mm) plate. Stock frame... soon, maybe... maybe you'll have to come to Wales next weekend...

    Beanies,

If a few people were interested, TartyBikes beanies could be done without much problem... Would DEFINITELY be less £age than those.
  22. Frame 3: T-Erminator :-" Probably :- (Id already thought of that btw Olly :()
