  1. I dont know what that means, im no computer whizz. All I know is it worked fine for ages, then suddenly stopped working. How do I open ports in my router?
  2. I cant get my game to let me play online. Game loads, downloads game settings and then I select a game. Then it will just sit there, counts up from 0-100% then says waiting for more players, then repeats. Each time im the only player in the Lobby, and it will just keep cycling. I have tried resting my router, and shouting at it. Im out of ideas. Help please
  3. Granted, but its covered in monkey fecies and Gordon browns Sprem. I wish I had a wish come true without consequence
  4. Just because they are cheap, doesnt mean they are crap. Ive been riding them for over a year now, and love it. http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....howtopic=146454 The geomatry is great for learning on, and a well set up bike can take you as far as you car to go. As said the frames are all the same, except the 1.3 has V brake mounts. The rear Hubs arent great, because they are just standard MTB hubs. If your just starting out then it will be fine, but once you get your skills up you will want something stronger, and with better engagement.
  5. Thats not Simon, he hasnt touched a bike in about 3 years. I have no Idea who that is, ive not seen him here either.
  6. Sweet. Josh is getting better everyday. He has been riding with us for a while and never ceases to amaze. Ive been trying to get him to wear a helmet forever, but he wont listen. But I do see a good futrue for him.
  7. Why dont you try tapping a thread into you axl;es and using bolts instead of Quick release? Simple to do, and doesnt cost much, if anything. Its been a while, but its eaither M6 or M5. And a couple bolts and washers will hold you wheel tight, and keep you tensioner tight.
  8. We have been talking about designing a new frame for a while, but with last year being balls to the wall busy, we didnt get the time to sit down and draw it up. Hopefully we will get some time this year to hit the drawing board.
  9. Thanks to all my Sponsers. Few new parts on the bike for this year, and alot more planned. Phase 1.1 Frame and Forks FSA Moto Headset Trailtech Sport Stem, Monty Trial Bars 203mm Avid BB7, Avid SL Lever, Standard Cable Eisbar 05 HS33, 4 finger lever, tensile mounts, TNN CRM pads, Phat Fluid, Echo 4bolt Booster Trialtech Sport on Atomz Light, Scwalbe Nobby Nick Try-all Rear on Hope ProII Trial, Scwalbe Big Betty Middleburn RS7 trials, Middleburn 20t Chainring KHE Collapse Chain, 17t Surley widebase cog Wellgo Platform Pedals, Diamondback Long neck grips Weighs in at 24.03 lbs. What you think?
  10. Sounds to me like they dont come off. Some cheap cranks have the chain rings held on with a lock ring thats pressed on then crushed. This means when the rings are dead you buy new cranks. There is no way of getting them off
  11. Ah I see now. A Brake-less Pick. Nice.
  12. what the hell is a frenchie? I take it you went from the Lower post to the mailbox. Nice gap.
  13. Phat pads work just the same in the wet as the dry. Very well. Doing demos all summer come rain or shine and the riders with Phat pads never had any worries riding in the rain.
  14. You guys must be keeping well off the radar because ive been riding in worthing for 10 years, and thought I knew everyone here. There are a few people that ride here, all range of abilities. Good luck getting anyone to come down though, have been trying for years and have given up. Despite all the riders I know that keep saying they will come down, and everyone knows how good it is to ride here, no one ever bothers showing up because itss more fasionable to keep riding the same places all the time. London, Bristol, Portsmouth London Bristol, Reading London, Portsmouth, Bristol Reading.............
  15. Its a personal thing. Me personaly I dont kike rear discs. I dont like how they feel, and or some bikes mae the front on twang about when you hop. Some people do like rears discs and ride them well. It has been easier recently as there are now good discs around for trials bikes. If i was to ride alot of competitions I would have a dual disc bike, but for street you can beat a well set up magura.
  16. She has applied for ALG but hasnt heard back. I didnt know about tax credits, will look it up. Parents cant really help, either dont have the funds to simply bail us out (not that i would accept it, thats what spoiled kids do). I could move home, but it would be a hell of a squeeze with all my stuff aswell. (cooker, sofas ect) My Mrs isnt at 6th form, so thats not the issue, she is going to see citizens advice on monday to see what they can do.
  17. Right my Mrs Has just gone back to college and arranged student finance. She has been waiting months for it to come through, and now they have changed their mind and said she cant have any. The problem is we really needed that money to Pay rent and Bills (share a flat together, which was fine while we were both working) She now only has a part time job and we cant afford the rent bills food ect with just me working. What options do we have for student finance, student loans ect? Job centre and Housing assosiation dont want to know, and we could become homless just intime for Christmas. Help please
  18. Yes you are right, its an A.Snowboards Blink, not industries. It doesnt look like that though, its Blue with Orange design in the middle. Can try and get a piscture of you like. It is a few years old, I think its 04/05, I know he said he got it not long before they closed down. Ill have to see if I can get to a dry slope and give it a shot
  19. Thanks for the Info Guys, most helpfull. Well im 5ft 11", and weight about 76kg I do have my Own Boots (ThirtyTwo Prius) its just board and Bindings I dont have. The Board my Friend is lending me is an "A Industries, Blink" snowboard. Its also got a set of decent Solomon bindings on it (which my boots fit, have checked) Ill have a look at those sites posted, thanks.
  20. Ok, I need some advice regarding snowboarding. Ive been once, and had lessons ect so I can snowboard, and am quite confident. So lets say Indernediate Level. When I went I was supplied a Snowboard by the Instructors, and they gace me a 165cm Board. I shall be going again, this time no lessons, just get on and ride. Ill also be taking a Snowboard with me. What I need advice on is, I have been offered a 157cm snowboard by a friend to take. Will I find this board harder to ride, as its shorter than what im used to. As for measurements it sits just bellow my chin. From what I have read the board should be between chin and nose, but a few people have told me it should be fine, maybe just a little twitchy. But they arent seasoned snowboarders, so I would like some advice from anyone with good snowboarding experience. I wont be going jumping or grind rails ect as Im not really good enough, I'll just be hooning about down hills and runs ect. If the board will be way too small for me ll be looking at buying a board myself. Thanks
  21. You tried de-glazing them?
  22. How long does it take for them to start wobbling? I could see the wobble really anoying me, specialy as im used to the XTR that never suffered from that. Are there any other good levers besides the Avids?
  23. Who makes a good reliable cable brake lever these days? Ive had my XTR Lever for about 9 years, and it snapped during a demo recently. I would love to get another, but cant find one anywhere that doesnt cost a fortune. These levers are damn good, but seem to be super expencive at the moment. So I ask, who else makes a good brake lever? Im running a BB7 if it makea the difference. Oh, and if there are any white ones that would be nice, just to keep the colour scheme.
  24. Hey dude, I didnt know you were back in the UK. I know its late but your more than welcome to stay at mine for tonight if you wanted to come down. Should be a good days ride
  25. Hove station is 1 stop from Brighton, change at Brighton, and head outside the staion, thats where we are meeting. The reason we dont Meet at brighton is that its harder to get to the riding spots form there. And you keep having to go back on yourself
