  1. I have a rare day off, so im going to fill it with riding, Does anyone want to ride somewhere on that date? Im in worthing, somewhere new would be nice, but dont think I can make anywhere like newcastle, liverpool ect. Would be nice to get a group of people out, see some old faces, maybe some new Where shall we go?
  2. damn that is easy. Thanks for the info buddy. Will keep my eyes open. Is there a news letter I could sign up to, so I receive a notification when entry forms are available, and any other news on the events?
  3. Hello. I would like to compete in the nationals this year, will be riding red route if I do. Where can I find the information I need to join up, and the licences I will require. Couldnt see anything on the biketrial site. Thanks.
  4. I have heard alot of people using the magura slaves. I do want to try and stick with the echo slaves, as they offer me better heel clearance. Ill have another look for a leak, and maybe try a fresh bleed. Will be a shame to get rid of it, as it is a nice brake. But if all else fails Ill go back to my magura.
  5. yea I Gathered it would be the TPA. I know its definatly not leaking, and its on a factory bleed, so shoulnt be that. Might try and get a lock nut on the tpa and see if it helps.
  6. Hey man for once im not working. If its still on im there. Lee
  7. Been a while since I have been on here, anyway, I have got myself an echo SL rim brake, and I do really rate it, theres just 1 thing that bothers me. It seems to creep. The more I ride, the more I have to adjust the pads in. Its nothing stupid like a leak, loose bolts ect. I have a feeling its the adjuster winding off. Does anyone else have this problem? I mean other that this its a fantastic brake, and id hate to have to loose it due to this. Also has anyone tried them with water yet? Do the work as well as Hs33's with water?
  8. I really wish I can make this, but everyone I was suposed to come with has Bailed on me. Is anyone coming from the South?
  9. I really cant belive people still dont understand how to make a living with trials? Your still shocked at seeing that Danny mac has gone on to do so much with his riding like its something new. MAD have been doing this for 14 years, have toured around the workd and riden on and around some of the most amazing sights, and people around. I myself have been doing it for 8 years. Demos, show releases ect. And its not only MAD, there are other established teams out there that have had great success with trials shows. All im going to say is if you think its as simple as getting a free bike, kit and pay check just for doing a little riding then quit now. Its hard work, long hours and requires so much more than simply being a good rider. No team in their right mind will take you on if you dont pull your weight. Yet get it right and the rewards are amazing. Some of the things ive seen and done with MAD over the years are beyond belief. I wouldnt change it for the world.
  10. A few of us Old skool riders from Worthing will be there.
  11. I can finaly contribute to this thread. Got myself a 1989 Diahatsu Forutrak SWB 2.8 Turbo Diesel. Took it out for a pay and play day last sunday, and was pretty damn good, even though its standard ride height with road tyres. Ill get some pictures up soon.
  12. Just got an XS26 for my new frame, but having a few problems building it. I have been riding a 20-17 ratio for years, but the chain ring hits the frame on the Ozonys. So I bought a 128mm Trialtech bb, still hits. So I changed my Ratio to 18-15, and it still hits the frame. Ive got Middleburns with a heatsink bashgaurd. What have other riders used on these frames? I have managed to get the cranks to fit, by fitting another spacer behind the BB cup to move the BB outwards, but this isnt ideal. Also what tensioners did people use? to get my 74 kingz to work I have had to add a 1/2 link, and I hate them with a passion.
  13. what are you doing about chainring? You mention an 18t, but the PCD of a 5 bolt compact drive will be too large to run an 18t ring surely.
  14. why has no one mentioned Gallows? f**king awsome band. Also look out for: Himsa Everytime I die The Ghost of A Thousand Have Heart Most Presious Blood November Coming Fire Poison The Well Rise and Fall Shadows Fall A Static Lulaby
  15. Wow, looks good on the big screen. I still think I could have landed that alot better. Will be going back and doing it again, landing better on the wall. Was such a good ride that day guys, got to do it again soon. Lee McCaw
  16. Hi guys, sweet ride today, was great to see some old faces, and some new ones. Until next time.
  17. granted but its a 32" frame with 2" handlebars ans 1 gear, at 65-10 ratio I wish there was more sunshine
  18. Thats incorect. Infact a good rider will rely more on the chain than the brake. And if your rally good you can do it without the rear back at all. Trials by definition put exces amount of stress through the chain, so standard chains will not last. As previously stated make sure all of your drive line is in good shape and correctly adjusted. Its alos a good idea to change the chain, chain ring and sproket at the smae time, as they will wear together.
  19. Incase you are unaware, the bolts you need are M5. Length would depend on your frame, booster and spacer length, but something around 30mm is usually good.
  20. I would highly recamend the KHE Collapse chain. Not the lightest, but then who cares. Super strong chain. I have managed to snap almost every chain I have owned over the years, but not this one. Had it on the bike over a year now aswell..
  21. You are instaling the Booster incorectly. Put the Brake and the clamps onto the frame, then the long spacers then the booster. http://www.echobike.com/images/0809control...R-REARBRAKE.jpg If you cant get the bolts to start then you will need longer bolts. Be careful when threading them, as its easy to strip the threads on the frame. If you need any more direction dont hesitate to ask
  22. Granted but you drunk on cow sperm. I wish there was no war
