£1900 is shitloads but I don't want something that big, its like 1500 on my parents' brand new mk5 2ltr tdi Golf. Just examples really.. The amount I want to drive exceeds the fact its stupidly priced.

Mum rang her company and they were giving her serious quotes of like £1900 for a 2.5 turbo diesel land rover 90. I think your over exaggerating. Then my mate Brett (planet x boy on here) has just got insured on a VTR on here.. If it means any more i'm also going to be going for a plus test too. I might have a look into rovers, they look quite a tidy sort of car. I'm not an idiot who wants to drive fast everywhere and just because I want alloy wheels does not mean that, I'll leave that to the ones in Novas and Fiat Chiqueniueueieneuto's

Yeah, love the two newest fiestas out, havent priced one up though really. Is there any insurance companies that are better than others. I'll probably be modding the car, not stupidly but say..wheels, exhaust, maybe brakes, then interior and that (do I need to declare bucket seats?) and lowering. Cars i've considered are Old old old Honda civic Clio mk1-4 Focus Fiesta CRX Golf Mk1+2 Escort Mini Saxo 106 206 306 Polo Thats all I can think of for now, if anyone thinks I've missed an essential one out let me know please.

Haha I knew i'd anger a member of 'The Mini thread'. No disrespect to Minis. They're a cool car and have plenty of character, I know what you mean about rustworm but still i'm sure theres some nice examples to be had out there, just don't realy fancy one, not yet in life anyway... Just been pleasantly suprised with an old crx too. The first ones (mk1 I guess) have come up at £1500ish to insure, 1.6 and basically a two seater, seems tempting. They're abit ugly but i'd live with it I think. Anyone know if they're rwd by any chance? Thanks for the advice so far though. I like minis but theyre sort of.. done. Like they're slow (in my opinion), uncomfortable (i'm near 6,5'') and I'm just not too keen on the looks. I used to want one. I don't want something chavvy and something inside says a yellow saxo is but I like the idea of sitting on the floor in a little sporty looking hatchback. Focus could be a good option, I'll get on gocompare after Father Ted and check that one up.

Hey. Basically i'll be driving in February and I want to know ideas for cars. Initially I was hoping for a Mk1 or 2 Escort but it doesnt seem a practical option. Mum and Dad want me to get an MG Midget or a Defender. I was keen on an old car with abit more character than getting a saxo/golf/nova etc. You know what I mean but then something made me change my mind abit.... I was in Brett Penfolds Saxo VTR yesterday and today and was really impressed with it. I think its kind of cool in yellow and it was nippy and just seemed a fun car. I've looked around on insurance for cars like this and it seems VTR's are about the best performance car for insurance cost. I'm not too fussed about initial cost of a car as parents will be paying out for some of it so anything up to about 3K. something that on my mums insurance wont be pushing £1600 a year and isn't dodgey or a shed. Best I have found is the old old, mk2 civic ( I think) 1.5 lsi. Anyway, any ideas? Please don't say Novas or Metros or anything.. too far though please. Quite like 106 rallye, 306, clio mk1...

DMR Deevee rims are THE BEST rim I have used for dj. Very stiff and just stay straight, spoke snap before these bend. Halos are good but not very stong, eggwise, so say, doing trials on a halo is bad but dj tends to be smooth so theyre better for that.

I'm going out with the lass at work who's on the till downstairs and I love her, lots Theres another hot lass now working on the till and I like the look of her although I don't know her yet really, just sort of. I find attractive girls attractive and I fear i'm going to cheat on GF but I don't want to, I love her and spending time with her, anyone got any solutions..other than just going for it with others too haha.
