  1. think ryan leech's skills are impressive, but compared to evolve, i fort the vid was shite.
  2. Will you give me one, and if i dont snap my hanger, ill pay for it :P :turned: serious note though, i am considering buying one.. Anodize some please (Y)
  3. Oh, someone please photoshop a witches outfit on her!! and add a couldrun (sp?) :P
  4. TeeHeeeHeee Someones got more guts than me, couldnt find the nerve to write that :P
  5. Apart from the color, Are plazpads the same as Zoo ??
  6. The best editor would be a Media 100 studo on mac... but there nearly £80,000 so a wee bit dear... But an alternative would be Adobe Audition Pro........ as you can d/load a Trial copy off a p2p... and then you also may down load a Keygen prog... but god knows what you would do with that :P
  7. my bike ..... Well......... in 4 weeks time when i have finished paying for it!! lol but untill then.. here is my shit heap the crapest riding trials bike on earth (not including other zeros with a less good setup!)
  8. NOOOOOO! never put locktite on ur spokes!!! NEVER!!! it hardnes, then you cant get the spokes undone if needed... it just twists the spoke around till it snaps!! i did it meself once...was a foookin nightmare!
  9. Why cheers mark :ermm: very kind of you... but dont worry about that money , it was a fiver.. but put it towards a KHE Collapse chain, when you need a new one :P
  10. i no you can buy what frame you like, only you are in control of your money.. im saying this from experience.. i have owned 2 zeros. .. i was sponserd by them when they 1st came out and my old team had uk's no 5,6,7 &8 it died when i snapped the disk mount... (i use maggys now) i then swapped a shite mission reffa frame for a dented but otherwise good working zero 13 months ago... i can ride the bike very well, and i have the best possible setup on mine to make the thing ride as smooth and light as poss.... i no quite a few people with them and they all recon mine rides the nicest to ride and control, but it still .. the thing is a TANK! quite a few people on the london ride and at one of the comps had a go of my zero -people with echos, zoos etc and they could barely control a kick hop, my bike weighs absolutly nothing, but once its on the backwheel, its soo short it feels like the front weighs 2 tonne!! I can tap (my higest) 52"... and it is such an effort... it feels like you are goning to face plant the wall before you even tap the wheel, you have to put everything you have got into lifting the thing up so as you dont fall back once on the wall.... then i see people with long bikes , just cruise upto a wall ,hit the front and viola, there on top of it, no effort... and belive me, its not just me, i have tryed it when i borrowed a long frame for a day, and it was soo much less effort! this is not a dig! just friendly , past (and present) experience related advice.. dont want u to waste ur money
  11. Nooooooo! have you purchased the frame yet?? if not, Dont buy it!! its the most horrid frame in the world!! its got a wheelbase of about 990 and you need to be a bodybuilder to keep the thing on the back wheel, even if the bike weighs no more than a square of carbon fibre toilet roll! they are strong though. different resonances effect materials in different ways.. a bit like a high ish pitched resonance (not sure the exact Hz) will smash a glass.... whereas lower Hz can moove objects ...like a powerfull car sub.. few years back, so a source of great knowledge told me, when suspension bridges wer built, they would construct a giant bass bin, and play a bass note of a very low resonance, to test the integrity of the structure. there is also that also that 'Brown noise' from brainiac.. aparently if you hear this brown noise....which iirc is a flat tone of a constant resonance , at the right volume level, it relaxes your bowl causing u to shit yourself?! duno if it works though??
  13. Theres some things on my bike that i feel shuld be as strong as possible reguardless of weight (to an extent) i use a KMC kool, and if i went to a different chain now , prehaps a lighter one, it would probally hold me bak in my riding quite badly, as in the back of my mind, i will be thinking its not gona last the next move! landing a rail on your brestbone or head first (even with a helmet) hurts something silly and the shock scares you a lot! if i ever get probs with my KMC, ill get a BMX motorbike style chain!
  14. Travis had a profile.. and it seemed to keep going stiff (after a week of owning it) so we took it apart and there where loads of metal chunks floating around inside!
  15. are good for you ! and the vidd.... you i like lots (Y)
  16. i no how to lace a wheel but i cant build one. they alwayse go up & down, then i loose me temper and then duno what happens  i rather save myself the stress and get my local BS to do it for a tenner.
  17. cant someone make one for the hope pro lever, so when you adjust the lil allen key bolt in side (to change the pad bite point) the lever dont point at like 3 o'clock!!
  18. Too be honest, i sware by plazzies.... they are amazing.. im not really one for riding in the wet, so not bothered bout that.. just i wore me plazzies and cant really afford to be throwing bux at me bike at mo.. so i used the blacks as backup with a deeeeeep grind! thing is though, i find with plazzies, you tend to rely on the power of them.. and now i have been riding with shit brake for a couple of months , i have got used to it and can do all the stuff i used to with a working brake, just forces me to land on things properly, else ill fall back.. so in theory, wen i get me new plazzies, ill be griping to stuff much better!
  19. look into the AVi compressions though, cos with new codecs out, i may not be 100% correct on that.. i seen a bit of the vid (compressed one) but its all jolty , so im loadin the 104mb one at mo.. looks good so far.. (but dont like the music (Y))
  20. the file is big cos it is saved as an AVI file, wich is simila to a 'video' version of WAV. its more raw than compressed. you shuld compress it to .MPEG (.MPG / .MPEG) it is the video version of MP3 and uses mp3 audio coding. keep the audio sample quality to no higher than 44 Khz as some codecs dont like higher.. 48 is pointless as the difference between 44 and 48 is not hearable by humans anyway.. and the extra audio will increase the overall output file size.
  21. Im sorry everyone. guess im a Phsycopathic scitzafrenic (sp?) for saying my plastic backings work better than my black pads. Guess next time i notice something like this , ill keep it to myself, rather than share it with you load of critizing tossers. may i ask exactly Who has even tryed using the backings out of all of thoes that just called me a liar?? i guess the fact that my brake is now harder to slip than when i had pad material , must just be a figure of my imagination. -supose i should have mentioned i have a medium grind and use mild tar.. but being as u lot are so clever , i fort you would have guessed that. bet if my name was craig lee scott or benito ross, you would all be thanking me of the info and all be out there trying it for yourselves. (Y)
  22. go for braided... one thing i notice about maguras... when ever you fall off aquard, the magura hose gets split... and at £4-£6 a time, it wont be too long till you are upto the price of a braided set. i have braided (hope) hose on my maggy and it feels more solid, better braking power and they dont ever brake..! i think if your stem snapped, the most damage it could do to a braided line, is pull the hose out of the connector and brake the olive.... which is cheaper to repair than buying a new std maggy hose. oh, and whinig over a couple of grams of weight... (Y)
  23. maby, but you only have to adjust it within 1 link of the chain , so you can run SS at the appropiate tension. it aint going to make too much of a difference to wheelbase.. and surely it will make the same ammount of difference to a 20"
  24. so many people have trouble with landing on there mech, bending the hanger etc, so why cant bike companies make 26" trials frames with horizontal dropouts?? like the 20" ! if theres some silly rule in comps stating that you have to have gears , then that can easily be fixed by having a bolt on mech hanger (like the DMR trailstar / sidekick frames and that saracen xile thing) My ideal frame would be a Polished aluminium short GU with horizontal dropouts... so i can run SS with no mech!
