  1. just get some rigied forks for your dirt jump bike, loads of us on here started on converted dirt jump bikes. aaahhh the days of dmr trailstars/sidekick and azonic ds1's put a pic and spec of your bike up and we will trials it up for you!! mike
  2. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^ thats awesome, i want that 'borrowed' 2 pallets from netto last night i am getting there
  3. okay i won't steal them i will just 'borrow' them :S probably get them from netto anyway as its closer and has less security :P
  4. i currently got a foot hign wall (about4 inches wide) and a brick :P :P i supriseing how much you can do with them but i am stealing some pallets from the co-op or netto down the road :P :P
  5. sounds pretty lame! the rennen on does work better if you up tension it. i have to down tension mine and will slowly come loose if i land on bashguard/chain a lot, which is occasionally annoying. but i generally have a bag with me (or someone else does) so i ain't too bothered taking a spanner!
  6. what was the forge one like, i can't remember!! was it like the dmr ones but no spring??
  7. the rennen one (and todge's) are a different design to the dmr's and surly ones, and do actually work better for trials (or so i have found at least) er....to make some money found a product they feel offers a different or better solution to others on the market. i dunno why do people sell things?
  8. a mr man with a boner, pretty amusing 7/10 the weirdest about the mr men was that mr fussy looked like hitler
  9. may as well put my experience's with 24" stuff in here. rims atomlab aircorp - very strong rim, reasonable weight (650g-ish see somewhere above) but the sidewalls need the black coating grinded or filed off, as soon as some water gets on it, it goes slick. still a good rim though! dmr deevee - cheap, seem to be strong so far. no trouble with them what so ever. got mine from wiggle for £16 + p&p Tires Intense FRO DH - the daddy of tires so far, very very grippy. really thick stiff sidewalls, running about 15 -20 psi in the back and no punctures and i have twatted it a few times. the tread is fairly soft but lasting fairly well i would say about probably get about 2 1/2 to 3 months use out of it. its a thin 2.35 that a thinner that the irc kujo dh. fairly heavy but it confidence inspiring tire! IRC Kujo DH - good tire, long lasting, hard tread, but offers good grip. lasted about 6 months before the sidewalls start to get really thin and would then puncture easily. but overall a very good tire. the 2.35 is plenty wide enough. lighter than the intense Tioga Comp III 2.1 - hard tread, but last ages, and wards off punctures pretty well. would be a bit better if it had a squarer profile, but good front tire and pretty lightish. if you are stuck for a tube a 26" one can be used with no problems. but i normally use bog standard rayleigh/halfords 24" and both seem fine. finding a wheel builder can be hard i went to stif and they wouldn't do it and neither would a another couple of bike shops, but manage to find one that would and was alright.
  10. nicely done todge. you managed to up tension yours one as well, i had to down tension my rennen,

  20. great: chain reaction cycles good: wiggle, custom riders i have had no probelm, with wiggle. well up until recently. I ordered a knucklebone dirt jump helmet and after trying it on ( it came within a few days) i decided it doesn't fit properly. i want to send it back to get a refund, but after ringing them i either can't get through(it justs rings) or is always busy i have tried a about 7 or 8 times so far, but no luck getting thro. They need more staff on the phones. also i have ordered a dmr moto r/t tyre a couple of weeks ago and no sign of that yet. other than that i have had really good service off them, i am giving them the benefit of the doubt at the mo, as i have ordered tons of stuff off them in the past and this is the first time they have been a bit crap. mike
