alright guys as the topic says there is a ride at backcown quarry tomorow near skipton Skipton is in Yorkshire, Back Cown in Lancashire(Rochdale)

I note you live in Shropshire, What part as i live in Oswestry & for trials there is nothing. We have to travel miles for some good practice. I am lucky most of the year because i spend most weekends in mid wales were there are amazing places to ride, but winter is crap.

It must of been to cold for the local Blackpool lads But not for Yorkshire born Robbie Peacock on his new Koxx Wasp & us Shropshire boys on our Montys. It was very cold & wet most of the day but we had a good ride on those awesome rocks. Amazing how much grip they have got even in the wet. We will have to pick a good weather day for you locals,

I run 20psi rear normally (rocks etc) but depends on what im riding. For mud & slippy banks i would half this. Still seems a lot compared to moto trials i use to run 3.5 psi on the rear.

Yeah tidy, get as many as you can, looks like the weather will be fine just bloody cold.

We are off to sunny Blackpool Friday the 30th if anyone fancys a ride. We will be on the Northshore rocks from around 11.30ish. The more the better so please try & come along. Hopefully it wont be snowed over. Cheer's Sam.

I want to ride Blackpool but will be in Mid Wales, I have rode some of those Northshore rocks a few weeks a go & there mint. I hope you can organize a newyear ride so i can come.

That's a matter of opinion, Ive run tryall drilled rims for the last 9 months on my practice bike with no probs. If you think thats not a long time i ride my bike alot & it does mostly rocks. You have to keep a eye on the spokes like any wheel & they can hold a grind well too.

You obviously haven't been, because i could show you the most awesome rocks for riding, worthy of world round sections. (maybe a bit hard for you)

The more you ride the better you will get. I reckon after School i practice for 3 hrs every night & now we are on holiday 6 hrs a day. Just ride your bike as often as you can & what ever obstacle you ride try & keep your feet on the pedals.

We are in Aberdovey(mid wales) for xmas & was wondering if anyone fancy's a ride Boxing day in Aberystwyth. I know there is trialers there & have ridden round there before, not bad for a change.

I went training with Mr Ben Slinger this Sunday gone at Back Cown. Was bloody good untill all the rocks ended up covered in snow ! If you get the chance to ride with Ben you will learn quickly & Soon realise why he is a World Champ. Thanks Ben for a cracking day, See you soon Sam.

I run Hope brakes on my ti & now they have bedded in they lock just like a 33 with a good grind(plenty of feel too) I had spoken to riders with the first batch of ti,s in the country which had marta'a on & most have moved to hope.

Things that have made me smile are: Old dear's that have said "you better get some oil on that bike" or " if your not carefull you will break that bike"

This is me on Christmas morning 3 years ago with my first trials bike, bought for practicing motorcycle trials. I learnt loads on this bike & it is still being sold round school now !
