  1. Oh` that's nasty! hahahaha
  2. I'm also not convinced he was not some terrorist mastermind the press in making him out to be. Doesn't hurt to keep the public in a state of panic nowadays when `votes` are important! I'd lock them up and make them clean pig sty's for the rest of their lives..... while eating bacon butties. They hate them `filthy animals` right? edit: I'm not a racist / I'm not a religion-ist / I'm a multicultural-ist! (or should that be `Anti-`?) You live here, you live by OUR culture..... or sod off! Stupid Tony Blugh filling up job quoters!
  3. Sigh` No more sticking them in the can and choking to death. Or snapping them in half and firing the ring bit...... how the years go by!
  4. Yeah` all that effort to spray a frame and then it chips off! Deffo go for the powder coating process in my books. Bit limiting on colors, but way tougher. Find em in the yellow pages etc. PS: Don't forget to Photoshop it, to test colour etc.
  5. er` well I do..... haha!! Next time you see some (between new laid cobbles etc), dig a chunk out! Not the end of the world now is it?
  6. Roads / Roofers / Ebay / Some dude on TF........`Roads`, go pick up your free delivery now!
  7. Drilling it will sort it right? Only a tiny bit though`
  8. I have a really old right-hand crank that won't tighten all the way on the bb taper. The bb has some sort of fixed washer. As you can see in the pic, it butts up against the crank, preventing it from tightening up, and leaving a mark etc! Hope you can see that? So..... I was thinking of drilling / kinda countersinking the crank a tiny bit so it will fit a bit better. Is this wise.... before I take a drill to it tomorrow? PS: I don't really care about this crank arm, hope to sort something better in time!
  9. Yeah` nice design.... spray it blue though!
  10. Er` I hate them too! but why didn't the several bleeds I did expel all the air first time / how can it get trapped etc... just for next time?
  11. It's all here brother..... take it all in, have a try, and reply back with difficulties your having! It's easier than jusy saying "how do you do them" (`How to> Balance> Wheel Swap`) Goodluck!
  12. At last it worked! Tried the squeeze the lever method and re-bleed it under water again.... a few small bubbles came out and everything seems ok after a quick ride. God knows what the three chavs coming round the corner made of me hopping across a deserted road at 12.30 at night thought! Riddle me this though.... why didn't a bath bleed AND a powerful syringe bleed expel all the air out of the system in the first place? Was it cause I changed the hose, thereby removing all the liquid, leaving a high chance of air bubbles? see above question and go round in circles! Thanks for the help!
  13. Oh thank god! I'd say when you become obsessed with removing nasal hair, like my er` friend does!
  14. Well I'll be buggerd if I can find any! Bath bleed / syringe bleed.... couple of times on both methods. Like I say, I did change the hose (expelled all fluid).... thought I may have damaged the cylinders or the lever somehow? Thanks for replying, I know this gets asked a lot but I am right p`st off with it!
  15. I've just converted my old front maggie to run on the rear of my A-B bike, bought longer hose / new olive's etc, (I hope I fitted them right, but it didn't seem to hard?) .......lever is upside down and the TPA is wound out. (not in use etc) Set it all up and bleed it in bucket of water and used the syringe methed cause I'm having probs. But..... when I pull the lever, the pads only move when the lever is half pressed etc, not instantly like my other brake. Only last week did I bucket/bleed my normal rear brake with great results..... what the hell is going on? Even if there was some air in the system I would expect the brake to instantly move, but feel soft. Am I being stupid or what?
  16. This week I've mostly been lisining to, watching and eating. Good Tunes: Bloc Party (forgot how much I like them!) Bad Tunes: The Killers - Sams Town (pretty dissapointing!) Good Movie: Fearless with Jet Li (what a kick arse film!) Bad Movie: Shaolin Soccer (ah` it was a laugh I guess!) Good Food: Sayers Sausy Rolls with lashings of brown sauce(god I love em!) Bad Food: Black Pudding (watched a programe where someone was making it! )
  17. Cheers bro! FS: One un-used Monty splitter! Nah` I know what you mean, it's just I don't fully release the brake/lever when kicking, and it's always rubbing on the `little` amount of tar I use on the rim. I'm gonna try it anyway....and I trust Tarty's/Montys advice. No `fence! Next reply: "and that's why tar is stupid.
  18. You all know why chicks were makeup and perfume right? Thought so! --------------------- No f**kin way... that site IS awesome. I shall be beautiful in the morning!
  19. Reet` This thread was the most recent about splitters, so I thought it would be easier to add to it. Anyway.... I'm fitting a Monty splitter to solve the ever pain in the arse problem of one pad moving before the other.... in fact one pad `returning` before the other... that's my problem, kicking through the dragging pad etc! Just about to get going when I thought.... do I need to fit a `bung bolt` in the other side of the caliper? As the other/original one is for.... ah` you get what I mean, I hope! Crap pic! And when I bleed it in the bath-(love that method-NO chance of air!), should I just remove both bolts, pump lever etc? PS:Anyone got a proper pic of what theirs looks like to compare hose lengths etc? And.......while I'm here, how about running the cable through gap/headgehog/seat thingy, then back though the hose holders near the headtube? I have a Trex etc. Actually, that could be a pain if I wanna bleed it in the bath, then attach to my bike? H`mmm, whatever, but still yeah` run it through the seat-gap? Cheers PPS: If I'm being stupid.... it's late.
  20. When something looks that nasty... I really do, and my Mom can't cook for shit. Christ... that's someone's idea of cosmetics? aim@me, care to explain / give me a link as to how CF is made or worked? I'm very intrigued? Looking at all those products, I can't begin to imagine how they are formed. Educate me if you would.... please? PS: I did a quick search and found pics of honeycomb structures with nitrogen this and that? If its total physics, maybe you should forget it!
  21. I know shag all about carbon fibre...so this will prob sound stupid, but.... why don't people spray paint cb products? That mesh effect looks total wank IMO? Really nice idea's and I'm all up for lightweight components, but jeez!
  22. I'm in the fan club now. Funny!
  23. Cheeky old b*****d, I can't believe that! Although I did see some old guy take a comedy kick/swing at some kids riding on the pavement, missing them and putting his fist in the air in a "you pesky kids" type way. Arseholes, I don't care if the law says "ride on the road", as if were gonna risk are lives with women drivers out there checking their makeup! Anyway, that's not the point I guess! haha Glad you found the fiver, you deserve it mate. I kinda believe in kama and all that shit... pity I got worse karma than that Earl Hickey bloke!
  24. If it's privatly ran, then the council should have no excuse to try and sort something out for you. ie: They didn't put shit into providing a place for people to ride/skate/keep people of the streets etc, and surly it is their responcibility to contribute to makeing a safe enviroment for us.... `you` young folk. Like that issue of MBUK said.... write to the `sport and lesuire` department or something like that, as I'm sure they have money reserved for such things. Or the lottery funds... although I don't know how you get that type of cash admittadly! Or buy a ticket! haha. It will take some doing though, but why not! .... night`
