Sounds like your not leaning forward enough when you kick! ..... your on the back wheel hopping/balancing etc, bars kinda close to you. Let the front drop a little bit/straighten your arms etc, therefore moving your weight slightly forward/pressure to the front pedal etc. Then kick and pull on the bars into a kinda stand up straight position/stem close to you..... then when you land, compress your body a little bit to keep your weight over the rear wheel..... enabling you balance and do another forward hop! Hope that helped / hope you get it!

Happening to me too! Tis a right pain.. can't even copy and paste the bloody things! As for the gifs.... I could not get the ones on Trashzen to work, had to allow this/that and the other in `Zone Alarm` untill they played. Have a look at your virus/spyware software, and look for privacy settings? Nah` man! = edit: I actually thought you meant move the mech with your hand and expect it to stay there!!! Forget that.... me stupid! You would run a tiny cable (just cut it down-use the gear nipple that usually goes in the shifter.....or a brake cable if that don,t work, meh`) ,from the barrel adjuster to the mech clamp as usual...... tension it up so the chain sits/runs on the small chainring. Then use the barrel adjuster to increase cable tension... moving the chain/mech to the large chainring! Just means you have to get off your bike to adjust to the required gear. Or be a freakin gymnast! Would look clean without the shifter, but meh` Thats how I'd do it anyway... some people use a spoke instead of a cable? Oh` and screw the H-L screw thingys to the reqired distance just to keep things sweet etc!
