compared to most of the other videos that was pretty bad sorry. It just lacked decent street riding, and the main thing, Dan Jones...
  3. There is likely to be other people who have done a backflip on a trials bike so I doubt your mate is talking bull
  4. homebase have one for 10 quid with a disc and its good.
  5. I was told they wouldn't fit too. the BB on the frame is like 83mm wide or something random like that so basically only special BBs fit. tensiles don't bend outwards as much as burns do.
  6. they get paid to put em on their bikes for photo shoots.
  7. fantastic basically, I have already improved on it, good for street, ok for doin proper trials moves too.
  8. I totally agree with you I'd have wanted a longer frame really if I could have say 1065 wheelbase and a slightly higher BB but his jig wouldn't go any longer. Kris still rides loads yer he was out biking when I went to pick up the frame from clive.
  9. Just don't use the split link at all its just a risk not worthy of taking.
  10. I had to do a pad bodge on my ghz, in the end I got a wide rim! I don't know whether pashley had welded the mounts onto my frame wrong though, they did look a bit squew wiff
  11. I just watched this drop on video and to be honest it wasn't too bad at all for the height it was from it was executed and landed very well. I don't know how strong these echo rims are what to be honest the way he landed it I would have thought a lot of wheels could have taken it. It looked as if he landed dead straight so it wasn't a leaning strain on the wheel. Maybe it had something to do with the wheel build? Who actually built it?!
  12. the hope skewers have indeed changed and are far better now. My old red ones were terrible, the black ones I have now are ten times better.
  13. how can that be true when different tyres have different depths.
  14. I got it as long as I possibly could do!
  15. Alright chaps, When I went to pick up my frame the other day from leeson I was given a look around clive leesons workshop. There were a few parts sitting around on the side, 1 was a packet of maguras own brake pads that were a pinky red colour ie not koolstops! I asked clive about em he sed he'd just got em in and that they were a new compound that was harder for trials presumably with ground rims. Anyone know anything about these pads?! He wouldn't let me have any cause he only had 2 left for Kris! He also didn't know whether they were just a one off! Cheers
  16. try getting a stem with a bit of rise that should counteract the fact that the BB is higher. Also stem stackers would help too.
  17. well usually the longest is 1045 but I think my forks have made a significant difference to that. It's 2 inches lower than normal which makes it look/ride better.
  18. Heres my new bike got her sorted on saturday, rides like a dream. Got a 1050 wheelbase and a specially lower seat for better standover height. Everything else is standard leeson, insanely stiff. Curtis Forks, 180mm Trial Disc, King rear Wheel etc... Cheers me dears...

just get ruffians, been using them since the dawn of time and I would never swap now, they just feel right. Thin, soft and long.
  20. the bearings on my 8spd mtb hub buggered on the freehub body. Just whacked some more in and its working better than ever now...on someone elses bike. It was time to return to the king for me...
  21. It makes it more dangerous?....and with danger comes crowd pleasing.

    Uber Wheel!

Why would that be difficult? just get more hosing?! Also, surely if he's getting a custom frame he'll get a custom booster to match. why are there bumps coming through the drilled holes on only one side of the rim?! man a rim that wide is pointless, nowt wrong with a good D521
  23. totally agree with that try your best to not use the back brake when doing it. It'll suddenly just click, just give it a whirl.
