  1. nice and original, very flowing video. The panning worked well. You could have done to use a wider lens or been further away on some of the shots though as it was difficult to see the size of objects that were being ridden on. good tune though that dido one is brill :) good riding too, smooth
  2. the 2003 one on the other hand is a bit crud. Short, long stays and a low BB. Sounds like hell to me. Would be good to learn on though I suppose.
  3. BBCD, off to loughborough to do computing and management should be a good laff!

    Porn!

I'm off riding north wales this summer, in august! My mates grandma lives in rhos on sea so we'll catch you there!
  5. yer true, I've had both a profile and 4 king hubs. My experience is that profiles never ever ever skip but have less engagements. The King is the better hub but you gotta set it up properly otherwise you'll end up on you face! Once the King is up and running properly it doesn't skip!

    Yellow Bikes

the tarts yellow koxx was always tasty
  7. its a big ball with a 26 inch diameter that you take into a big pit and kick about. Its an ancient Greek sport that was once played by the Gods and was presented to Mr PeeWee who made it into an international sport called Pitballing.

    Pace RC250t

stiffest on the market ay...I think not!!! Have you not seen the CNC'd frames that are coming out of the woodwork nowadays. Take for example the echo control 2005, now thats stiff.
  9. sounds like you haven't done a harsh enough grind. Try going at more of a 45 degree angle at the rim when grinding. Also pour water on after to clear away all the filings from the grind, they can cause the brake to go turd.

    Grip Sweat

Alright people, Every single summer it drives me mad how sweaty my hands get and I get no grip at all. Everyone I ride with suffers from the same thing. I don't wanna get gloves cause they just don't feel right. Are there any grips or special lengths you lot go to to make your hands stay in place. I currently have ruffian grips...
  12. Great as usual! Some monster taps, sidehops and techy hooks going on! Good work
  13. I completely agree, those c**ts in stif are so arrogant its unbelievable! They once offered me a job but I thought man I couldn't stick working with that darn wheelbuilder who thinks he is gods gift! Anyway, they might be nobs but they are VERY good at workshop stuff and have every tool under the sun! Jon

    Politics?

1 sec...didn't I see your dad doing that for you at a previous comp???!

    One Handers

I think that you are all over complicating it! All you gotta do is get on the backwheel, get balanced, tense up your body so the bike won't slop when you let go and just take you hand off. If the bike starts to fall forwards slightly just try to move with it so you don't end up pulling on the bars and twisting em.
  16. I am a fan. Shorter chainstays but make you feel way more balanced on the backwheel. Longer front end in my opinion is a good thing especially for front taps and such...
  17. I am hopefully off to loughborough next year along with another guy from leeds called matt. We both ride all the time and will be taking our bikes obviously. :(

What did I say...poor spray job.

    Spray Job

the proof is in how long it lasts before chipping off.
  20. I have had this a few times you just need to replace the front chain ring. The chainring will have got worn to the shape of the old chain that you had, and will not 'mesh' correctly with the new KMC chain, as I am expecting it is completely different.
  21. Sorry but I don't know if its just me that thinks this, but I don't see your videos as being anything special editing or filming wise. They are good videos, I ain't denying that, just I think your style is pretty bland. I really liked that video, could have been encoded better quality but I know you were having encoding problems! Sick moves, good tune, basically just mentalists you two are! Jon
  22. just cut the steerer down you fool! Listen to what people are saying! Every fork comes with a steerer tube thats long so that the forks will work with any frame! You'll need to buy a star nut too to put into the steerer tube of the forks so you can tighten up the headset. having too many spacers will make the bike feel terrible.
  23. the frame probably needs facing so the headset fits properly.
  24. my mates 2yr old hope hubs have done the same and have gone really pink. But my 1.5yr old front hope xc started off a darker red and stayed that way, maybe they have changed the anodising process a bit since?!
