I was once a senior member but one day I had my power revoked!
I was never told why but I expect it was due to my hatred of Bill!! I saw the error of my ways there!
It was nice having a SM forum and stuff where only intellegent people posted and people with mature views.
Fancy taking me back boys? (Y)
edit: I was just thinking...I have been on this forum since it began just about and I still have less posts than people who joined last year. It just shows how many people must post irrelevant info. I only try to post when I am saying something helpful and so should everyone else, don't just post for the hell of it!
leeds is fine on saturdays I actually think I have been kicked off way more times on sundays than saturdays! I reckon it's cause they have more important things to do on saturdays than kick us off walls!
I'll be there 11 30 ish
seriously this bike rides incredibly well. I am getting up higher than I could ever imagine, easily too! haven't pushed the boundaries yet but expect a new vid from me eventually bustin some ghetto moves!
jon
Here are a few pics of my new control. Its the 1085 length frame but the bike measures in at about 1095ish so its nice.
Great on backwheel as you'd expect, V light, V stiff (check the chainstays!)
cheers tartybikes!
but if it records as dvd encoded files it'll be a hassle to edit as you'll have to convert to avi files or similar. just get mini dv its what the industry uses as a whole for amateur film editing.
use nitromors to get all the paint off.
then use various grades of sand paper to sand the whole thing down. Start with a rough paper then get down to a very fine grade.
then buy some t-cut(from car shop) and rub in with a cloth, it'll come on shiny and mirror like.

MINI DV!!!
mini dv is what everyone should buy for making trials videos (unless obviously you have bags of money). It produces high quality, digital video. Tapes aren't too expensive and it is supported by all editing software.
problem is the mono trial is 160mm...I don't know whether the marta is 165 or 160, I have a feeling its 160mm too. Just whack it on it should be fine and dandy.
are they not lacquered? ie would I need some kind of paint remover?
don't gave me sarcastic comments they really ain't necessary, obviously I know some polish is going to be necessary but in the past this polishing lark has required a few steps to be taken.
'generally' no though because even if someone is 13 stone and less muscular than someone else who weighs less the 13 stone person will still be putting more weight(force) onto the chain than the muscular skinny bloke.
thats not that helpful because the steerer tube has to be about a quarter of an inch underneath the top of the stem initially for the topcap bolt to pull the headset together tight.
