Cough Cough... NO. Right this is wear people make the mistake of thinking grease grease and more grease. Grease doesnt solve everything you know. Right... Use a Crank Extractor and Bottom Bracket Tool to remove the Cranks and Bottom Bracket from the frame. Thoroughly clean and degrease the Bottom Bracket Shell and Cup Threads. Wrap the Cup Threads with PTFE Tape. (Start From Inside and Out lol) Put a Small Coating of Grease on the Bottom Bracket Shell and Threads and then Re-Install the Bottom Bracket and the Cranks. Chears Dudes. P.s. Just remember to check regulaly and regrease when needed.

Frames usually crack more easy if theres no seat post. Maybe bare that in mind. Chears. Nick
