Sd7 are great brakes, id recomend you get some decent after market pads aswell from heatsinkbikes and your brake will match the preformance of a hydro one.

If it started to come out and then went all stiff sounds like you may have a bent bolt, if not you may have cross threaded it. Either cut the groove for a hacksaw and use screw driver or clue a allen key in with some strong clue or try jaming a torx key in it or last resort grind the head of the bolt of take your clamps off and then try using plyers to get it out.

I dont quite get what you mean but surely if you take the brake caliper off and press the brake then the pads will get closer and therefore rub worse. So dont do that. Take the caliper of and push the pistons all the way back in with a screw driver then put it back on and pump the brake and see if that helped. If not and it is the pad nearest the wheel that is rubbing then get some washers and put them between your caliper and the disk mount this will space the caliper over sorting the problem. Just keep adding and removing washers untill its just right.

Strip your frame with nitromorse, ruff it up abit with sand paper or something and make sure its clean. Go halfords and buy some primer, laquer and the colour you want spray cans. Do 2/3 coats of primer and do 3/4 paint coats and then do 3 or even 4 coats of laquer. I did my mod for about 30 quid and the finish is suprisingly good.

The bb7 would probs end up abit more than that hope but in the long run i would say you will have less hassle with a bb7 due to there simplicity. Ive used all three 160/185/203 bb7's i had the 185 on my mod and the brake was amazing it nearly sent me over bars it locked that quickly. But it is bigger than a 160 so if you sidehop that way theres more chance of catching it. A 160 locks really good and would be just as good, a 203 is over kill on a mod. With the 185 you will get more of a on off brake it will just lock striaght away, with the 160 you will have more modulation as in you would be able to do more rolling moves easier like a rolling endo. So really its just what you prefer in a brake either on off or more modulation. The lever you want to use is avid sd7 thats a really good lever for it price and i think most people would recomend you get one. I just use a cheapo cable but i believe people recomend linear slick cables.

I can totally understand what your saying and its just that i dont have money to throw around so i see the sensible things when buying stuff like why i was saying it would be easier to sell on. I was just trying to say really dont focus to much on how your bike looks think of the other factors about how it will ride, I agree part of the fun is also having your bike looking real hot but also to me im just happy to have a bike working and riding nice how it looks comes 2nd to me. I dont ride to get sponsored at all, as i doubt youve ever seen a proper video of me ive been in the odd one but never have i made a proper video of meself. I ride for the fun it gives me and the mates that ive met through it and will continue to make more hopefully. And also ride to push myself to do the best i can and do meself proud when i nail something. But would love to be sponsored as it would help out with the financial side of things, but i dont go out especially to get sponsored. I agree its his bike so he should do what the f**k he wants, but was just trying to say dont get to hooked on how it all looks and think of the practical things.

Black isn't boring its stealth. Because chances are when you come to sell it and some ones looking for one theres a bigger chance they dont want it in the your personal colour choice than there is if you got a neutral colour. Dont really have problem with coloured rims because chances are you will change them anyway due to dieing eventually. Put it this way if you was looking for a king on here and you had a blue colour scheme on your bike, the chances of a blue one coming up arent that big as theres quite a few colours you can get kings in, but if a black one came up i bet you would consider it because black goes with any colour and there are slim chances that a blue one will turn up. When your pating such alot of money for the example you give such as a king theres no point in my view going on inpulse and going for a colour because you could regret it when may be trying to sell it or you fancy a diff colour code. So thats why i think when your buying the expensive parts and the main parts on a bike that arnt replaced every so often you should go neutral, and if you do want a colour then do something that isnt going to be pocket emptying to replace like rims.

Thats great really hope this works out well for you aran best of luck, and hope to see you out riding sometime soon, will be back riding from my broken wrist now so give us a pm any time your rideing.

Really good dude enjoyed the vid loads

Surely its how something preforms rather than looks though. Yeah it nice to have a bike that is eye pleaseing to you but its the riding that counts, what your bike looks like won't get you a sponosrship its how you ride that will. So theres no point getting the parts that are all colourfull but not necesarily the best part. But i supose that doesn't matter all that much these days as because most companys are doing things in all colours these days. I just think people focus to much on how a bike looks these days.

Theres one in f/s section.

Yeah you would struggle to over here, but you can make them road legal so you could do that, that would help slightly.

Dont be gay and do all the colour coded stuff personally i think it ends up looking tacky as people go to far. Just go for black or silver parts because its alot harder to sell on a coloured part than a nuetral coloured part that will go with any colour. And looks nice simple and clean. Its anoying when someone is interested in a part you have and says what colour is it and you say red for example and they dont want it because its the wrong colour where as silver blacks goes with every colour.

Swap the spacers over first and see what the chain line is like if its totally off then, just get a set of spacers that is comprised of smaller ones and not a big and a small one then. With the smaller spacers you will be able to move the spacers around more and get a more accurate good chain line.

How you work that out, its not made by tarty its made by hope but tarty have got them to do custom lazer etching on it and have added all the pimp stuff to it.

Well the best place to start looking for a tool is where ever bought it from. I would have thought that was obvious so try where ever you got it from. If you cant find one just use something you can find in garage and a hammer (solves everything does the hammer) and it will be orite. OO i tell you what you could use what i would have though would be ok is a pair of pipe grips.

Deng or koxx dont have an amazing warrenty so dont no what your trying to get at there. It will have a manafactures default warrenty which could be any thing from a month to years. It just covers and bad workmanship and things made improperly. Because of what trials bikes are used for and the hammering they get no companys does a proper warrenty for if it brakes, the best is onza which do half price crash replacement.

Im slagging it off because its a shit rim they dent easy if you try anything big where you may not land right on top and a mate had a crack that went all they way round it, And i dont bum echo rims so im not being biased or anything.

Use a screw driver and your sorted and no need to buy a tool then.
-
Your right try all ones are shit only people buy them are the colour coded people and weight weenies and the people who buy them because it says koxx or people smooth enough to not kill them. Alot of people may have them but that because half the riders now go off looks when they are buying something and what colours you can get it in. So you grow up and stop talking rubbish.
