I have got a broken bash guard bolt stuck in my frame, the head of the bolt has completely vanished somewhere in the past few days and i'm not really sure what to do, I thought about getting a pair of plyers on the opposite side to the head, but they won't into the frame. I was just wondering if there was any other ways or special tools to get it out and if anyone else has had the same problem. Cheers.

What Trials Bike Could I Get For £450
Mc Lovin replied to amenguit355's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
Mod or stock, second hand or brand new? If mod you could get a brand new T-pro for £419. If stock you will have to go second hand for a fairly decent one. -

New Online Street Trials Magazine - Input Wanted
Mc Lovin replied to flange's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
It sounds like an awesome idea mate. I agree with what others have said, it's always good to have pictures of broken parts( Maybe a small section at the back with a count of parts broken since the magazine first went into publishing. I.e punctures chains etc), bails and injurys are always good also. A riders page would be good so we know who it is that is riding, what bike and where. Do you know what the magazine is going to be called yet? A marsbar eh, sounds interesting :( . -
I'm borrowing a hope mono off my mate because my front magura has lost all the threads in the lever so it doesn't work. The hope is not working very well ether (It's been siting in my mates shed for about 6 months). I've tried going down hills with it on, splashing water on it then going down hills with it on and cleaning the disk with a clean cloth (which made it worse) I was just wondering weather it needed new pads or a re-bleed, the break lever is quite spongy so I'm not sure what do do. cheers guys (Y) .

Seat's are there so we look as cool as possible mate (Y)

Are you talking about your headset? try pushing down on the stem, (with the side and top bolts undone) then tighten up the top bolt still pushing down then tighten up the side bolts, if this dosent work the headset mite be gone or it mite need pressing down.

Get zoo pads they are amazing! They just grip and grip and make a sweet noise. I had them for about a week but then my hs33 broke a few days ago so im running a hope mono.

I agree with everyone, i always wear my helmet even if i'm just messing around in front of my house, tonight i used my helmet twice :D .Firstly i did a gap and slipped off the back and my helmet hit a pointy rocky wall, and secondly i was riding some crates and the one i was on slipped backwards and i fell forwards and smacked my head on the crates when i was gapping. The lesson to be learnt is.........

Monty foams all the way  I've got quite small hand and they are great, just get some decent barends so they don't rip, and if they do just put a bit of selotape on the grip where the rip is and they last for weeks longer.

Me and my mate got a Virgin train to Plymouth to and from St Ives yesterday, we had no worries. There is bike carriage right at the front of the train so just plonk it in there and your fine, its free aswell mate. I was on a Big long train the other week and as i was getting off i saw a sign on the wall saying all bikes £5!! so I rode away... fast.

So very true (Y) .

Instead of buying a new lever you could just re-thread the lever you have and get a bigger nut, to save you a bit of bob.
-
Dose anyone want to ride plymouth tomorrow me and my mate are getting the train up at about 9 so we will probably be there at about 11:30 ish. Sorry for the late notice (Y) .

My front maggie went thread bare half way through the bolt that the lever loosens at the bar and it just kept terning around and didnt' catch on lever so didn't tighten up, so i took it down to my mates house and he gave me a longer bolt which I think was from the old maggies, That was only lastnite as well. :turned: Cheers charles :P .

He never said he was going to buy the T-pro he was just asking wether we agreed it was the best value for money bike. If you look in his profile he has already got a T-pro :) . I agree though T-pro then T-mag for mod and T-rex for stock.

It's a bit like a pogo-stick when you feel yourself falling over to the right you will push the bottom of the pogo-stick further out to the right when you are in the air then land like that to balance yourself out it's pretty much the same with trials. Try to use your legs more than your arms so push you up and keep bouncing, just small jumps is all you need. :turned:

Cheers guys, I've cut down my forks and it works nicely, but when i went to put my pads onto my rim, the wheel was fully locked up and the rim didn't budge. I unwound my TPA and it was still just as bad so I came to the conclusion that my rim was very wide, (front onza hog) so i attacked my break pads with a grinder and took about half a cm off them so problem solved, or more like problem bodged, and now my rim now spins. :turned:
