  1. Raynox with an adaptor. HD3030 is very good, you need an adaptor ring though. Could be a bit over your budget, maybe get one 2nd hand.
  2. Why don't you all put a bit more effort into your posts? This topic belongs to NMC.
  3. Is the TR the same as SL in every way but the amount of pawls and ep's?
  4. Didn't really do it for me but that line starting at 3:46 was brilliant
  5. Yeah exactly, it's the editing which leads you to believe it's close. Fast pace music, quick dynamic shots and all of a sudden the viewer thinks they're all going neck and neck.
  6. That FXX lap was insane It just shows that Ferrari still has it in their blood. I like what they've done with the Stig identity, they kinda told you who he is but still leave you wondering. Personally I don't give a toss about who he is, when they were going to reveal his identity I was rather disappointed. Either way, that was the first time that the first episode of the series didn't turn out to be crap. The race wasn't my cup of tea, but it was interesting and somewhat factual.
  7. While we're talking about improving cranks, my suggestion is HG/Spindle splined cranks. Stop with the screw-on nonsense, it makes life miserable. I discussed this with Deng but he says there needs to be full backing from all the manufacturers to introduce such a solution.

Wow, I've never seen this more than a million times yet. Anyway, one of the best trials vids ever in my opinion.
  9. Hannah Shucksmith is heading over with an opinion.
  10. Yes! Finally a purchasable item which makes sense in everyday life! A piano with special anti-strangle strings would be a good idea too, I dread the day my mother kills me with her piano. That's why I don't have a guitar, it's a deadly weapon.
  11. Tried some CRMs the other day to get a rough idea of how the TNN's might preform. Must say that they are bloody marvellous, by far the best pads I've ever had. Ran Rockman blues before the change and they just didn't want to hold and had no bite. Same with Cousts. The CRM's worked badly for the first hour or so but later they were just amazing. It's the first time in a couple of years that I'm running a worn grind with no tar whatsoever. They also perform quite well in the wet. My only problem with this compound is that it's rather soft and makes the brake spongy. Still, I've kicked out my Bluberry pads on the front and whacked some CRM's on. Can't wait to try them out.
  12. Well, that's what you get for dealing with pre-members. Much more risky. Perhaps wait a few more days and take a train to his house, sort it out and demand a refund of the travel costs?
  13. He does speak sense, but that doesn't mean you can ignore all the nonsense that's been posted in this thread. But what Sponge is saying is true, the majority of Deng product range cock ups (apart from stuff like freewheels, Deng Cheese rims etc.) were due to poor quality manufacturing which until recently had little to do with him. Now that he owns a factory, the quality has much improved. It finally reminds one of the good old pre '06 frames. Another major change is that the manufacturing and QC is being managed by the co-founder of Echo who seems to be pretty serious about his job. So hopefully all these changes will have a big impact on the final product. This is really not an easy question to answer, on one side you've got very decent quality, on the other a lightweight frame. And unless we're in for a breakthrough, light frames will never be as strong as heavy duty ones like the old Controls or Adamants. Although the gold Coustellier frames were pretty damn strong and light at the same time weren't they? So you'll never know until you ride one. I stand by my initial post though. Even Somewhat Ridiculous would be a better frame name than Because Simple.
  14. Well yes, but if you're only concerned with wheelbase and not reach, why not just bend your fork or get ones with massive rake? Most people looking for a long frame don't want their front wheel to stick out 10ft in front of their bars, they want more space for their body. Unless for the last 9 years I've been missing the whole point of having long and short frames.
  15. Lynx, simply because riding something called a Because Simple would be more of an embarrassment than riding without any clothes on. So if you're looking for some embarrassment, you'd be better off buying the Lynx and riding naked. At least that might get you laid.
  16. Instead of looking at the wheelbase, why don't you have a look at reach. Wheelbase means nothing, it's used to compare frames for no apparent reason.
  17. Do you not find 90mm a bit short for normal trials use?
  18. Got a big problem with matching the stem geometry for a bike I need to build up. It's an Inspired Fourplay, going to have Trialtech Riser bars and Pitbull forks. It's intended use is street and trials. The main use is probably going to be trials though. Got the following to choose from (apart from mod stems and long stock stems): 105 x 5 115 x 10 120 x 17 125 x 20 130 x 15 Please could only Fourplay users give their opinions. Could you also not suggest different bars or stem geometry. Just pick one out of the list. 1-1,5cm of spacers under the stem is also an option.
  19. Those frames are brilliant. And they'll go on forever.
  20. Switched it off after the millionth failed attempt at sidehopping up those pallets.
  21. Greetings

    Gu Le?

1,8kg isn't heavy. It's light. The frames are ok.
